Jox Posted April 29, 2014 (edited) Hi all, Sadly I have found myself struggling to pay my bills & keep a roof over my children's heads. I have a collection of large cacti & euphorbia's, I also have a large amount of cacti potting mix. Everything in the photos is for sale, this collection is near the Goldy.. I would like to sell these off in one lot, if anyone was planning on starting a well established cacti & succulent garden then these is a great start, I would also be happy to help the buyer move these plants. If I can't find someone to take the lot I will be forced to sell them individually. I have a few more cacti than are in the photos which I will give away to the buyer. I need to move these plants & am willing to take offers. If there any questions please ask here or through PM . Regards Jox Edited April 29, 2014 by Jox

Jox Posted April 29, 2014 @ Kate, I would be happy to out but the last time I sent cuttings to Tassie they were destroyed . If I can't find a buyer to pick them up in the next few weeks I will get in touch & maybe we can work something out . @Bullit, thanks for your words mate. My family are healthy & happy so I am ok but if I don't get some cash coming in I will have to move them into a tent somewhere, hence the reason for this sale. I have never sold anything on the bay or gumtree before but if no one here is interested I will have to learn. Cheers Jox

mystical oyster Posted April 29, 2014 sorry to hear you must sell up a bunch of your collection bro, i just had to sell a heap of my trichs and other plants to only a couple days ago, a sad sale but money makes the world go around and the bills added up. will pm
Raoul Duke Posted April 29, 2014 I'd be keen on a smallish monstrose cactus or euphorbia, not sure if you can easily send interstate. Of course weight is an issue but I noticed you'd rather sell them all in one hit so you may not want to post. If you decide you can I'd be interested in a couple of the freaks. I hope you get the money you need to make things easier. I'll PM.
AndyAmine. Posted April 29, 2014 I will take some if you decide to split the lot. You're welcome to store some of your keepers at my place if you ever need a place to keep them while you sort things out.

Jox Posted May 3, 2014 Hey guys, Just wanted to thank everyone for there nice comments & offers to help , this is a great little community! I have had a few really rough weeks, mentally & financially but I have tried to keep positive & on Friday it payed off , I went for a drive to help a mechanic mate fix someones bobcat, it turns out the man owns a nursery & has offered me a job as a nursery manager, if all goes well he is willing to let my family move into a 3 bedroom house that is behind the nursery. It only gets better he wants to add cacti to his nursery & wants me to use my collection for propagation !! This could possibly be the new start I have been waiting for, I am starting this Monday a can't wait!! Thank you again to everyone, I can't explain how much your support & kindness has helped me . Cheers Jox

2Deep2Handle Posted May 6, 2014 Couldn't think of anyone more deserving of a turn of good fortune. Hope it works out, and stoked to know ill still have your collection to fap over when I'm up visiting :D My advice to all us gardeners out there, as an investment, is to sow 100 Lophophora seeds, don't become emotionally attached to them, and then on rainy days, you won't feel like a 1st world ebay-whore... And even better, won't have to huck your most prized amongst your collection!
GoOnThen Posted May 10, 2014 Mate I haven't been on here for a while and I started reading this thread and I was sad seeing you selling your plants and then I continued to read and it is like a ray of sunshine. I truly hope this works out for you. Of all of the people that I have watched grow with there collections here you are at the top of the list to deserve this.
