Huachu Ma Posted January 11, 2015 (edited) Thanks. Yes it works fine. The graftings are small at this time, because i Do it at very late at last year. But 8 to 10 weeks and the new growing time begins at the window. AZS Posted January 11, 2015 I have been purchasing seeds from zelly for a few years now. The first batch was started in the fall of 2012 so these are just over two years old and on their own roots. I went out to look inside the "greenhouse" to see how they are doing. We had one week of frost a couple of weeks ago but now the air temps are back into the 70'sF / 21C and it feels like spring under the plastic - the seedlings are actively growing and getting a head start for the growing season where these should double in size! nitrogen Posted January 13, 2015 (edited) Wow AZS those LJ x Juuls seedlings are looking great - with the maturing of the traits you can really see the genetics of both parents.. Those do indeed look like how I'd imagine an LJ x Juuls to look.. Edited January 13, 2015 by nitrogen

zelly Posted April 8, 2015 for some reason I'm getting arse loads of variegates and on some where a variegated grandiflorus was the pollen donor I can understand but the others had no variegated parentage, yet far more variegates than normal....all pics taken in natural daylight...
Brendo Posted April 8, 2015 No pics but I've just placed an order on misplant for the following: Juul's Giant x TPQC Juul's Giant x Lumberjack Juul's Giant x Bridgesii 'Big Bertha' Juul's Giant x Huarazensis Peruvianus2 x Huarazensis Huancoensis x Macrogonus SS01xSS02 x Macrogonus Soo soo keen to sow these seeds, I'd heard of all the awesome crosses & quality germination rates but it literally took me weeks to figure out misplant was Zelly's store, I really should have just asked someone. I was googling stuff like 'Zelly's seeds' and getting random websites selling things other than Tricho seeds lol. .

modern.shaman Posted April 8, 2015 I enjoy variegated plants as much as the next guy however just some food for thought... Variegated plants are considered 'weak/undesirable' genetics by those that are commercial hybrid growers worldwide (Spain, Taiwan and others). Variegated plants do draw big bucks on some plants (some companies seem to sell exclusively variegated plants) however when created a new cultivar it is not a plant they choose to cross with to 'stabilize' the traits.
