theuserformallyknownasd00d Posted August 13, 2016 Hells yeah Bedofspines!! Did you root first graft second ? Or graft and root?
BedOSpines Posted August 13, 2016 I rooted first which doesnt take long at all. My peres lives in a crate at ~ 100% humidity all the time. The zygo dont seem to like it much they soon start to rot from the base. I still havent had a loph take properly. Astros seem to be taking ok. Im going to try some more once they are rooted. Both the zygo and rhipsalidopsis are the red flowering types. They seem to have the fattest stems. Also the two grafts in the pics are grafted to old growth. Milo Posted August 26, 2016 After enough time being a stickler about keeping my slow growers on their own roots, I've decided to try a loph graft. Added a third band with a small folded paper to even out the pressure on the scion after taking the pic. Hoping it takes.

Master B Posted August 28, 2016 (edited) One of a couple of varigated plants from some seed collected from dawsons( the plant was a J1 looking Peruvian right in front of the short spined terscheckii) I send seeds of this out to a few people so hopefully there are a few more around?? I think it was called dawsons j1 looking peru x open My hunch is a bit of terscheckii or pasacana in there???? Here is the Mumma and pod the seeds came from. (Im not sure why it was labeled J1 looking as i dont think it looks very J1 in hind sight...probably the long central ) Edited August 28, 2016 by Master B

djmattz0r Posted September 12, 2016 BBB bridgesii X validus crest from seed Another BBB bridgesii X validus Juul's Giant X SS02 on Quiabentia pflanzii stock pushing out some nice growth. Was trying to get a really fat Eulychnia castanea, this was ok... Did another tip onto the biggest Myrtillo will see how fat this one gets. Same huge Myrtillo, can see where the massive TBMC was grafted as well. And just for good measure threw a VTBM onto one of the lower limbs. No aeroles though...

djmattz0r Posted September 14, 2016 (edited) Thanks! They are my babies. That is the biggest greenhouse, I would estimate 100 ft x 30 ft maybe bigger?... It is one of the production greenhouses I manage for a local cactus business and I keep some of my goodies tucked inside ;) Edited September 14, 2016 by djmattz0r
