PositiveHAL Posted October 9, 2012 (edited) So, i know this has been attempted before, and may prove difficult to organise... but who's up for a SAB camping trip this summer? somewhere within a few hours of Melbourne? a casual get together, come for the day trip or stay the evening/s? so, what say you? It would be good if we could all get together, without things like money, distance, work, and family commitments getting in the way. If we could all just synch' . Towards the end of January i might have something on, so... just putting that out there, but early Jan' or any time in Feb' i think is OK for me. I'll be in melbourne for Einstürzende Neubauten, but then back to a somewhat normal existence, whatever that is lol. im not objecting, just letting you know at this point i will more than likely pass on the camping trip. Im apologising for the fact im not available late feb or march, and wont be able to attend this camp. My normal life goes back online as of about the 18th of Feb, and i have another adventure planned the week before that. Einstürzende Neubauten is a bit of a stretch as it is, but considering the profound effect they had on my life i have to go see them, then land running back into my job. i will have a fair bit of prep work to attend to before travelling so a camping trip early feb would be not be possible. sorry to let you guys down. THCixx420 Posted January 6, 2013 Is this camping trip still going down? If your in need of a spot I can offer up 'The Island". Located down stream of the Hume Weir wall on the Murray. 3 hours North of Melbourne and 6 hours South of Sydney. "The Island" is a 50 acre Island in the middle of the Murray. Nice and secluded, good fishing and a kick ass sound system up in the trees. I can get some pictures up If you like of the area.
