Easy. I'm not much into cuttings anymore (except brugs, they seem to go like hell)but caleas, piper betel, salvia, and now even heimia...I just layer them with great success... Just get the lowest branches of your calea, while still on the plant, and immerse the in soil in a large styropor(spelling?) box, and bingo, in less than a month you'll have suckers. Hope this helps. I'm pretty pre-occupied with the personal revolution that's happening here at the moment...i.e. 2 of my kids have decided to move in with me and it's pretty chaotic...not that I'm complaining that's what i wanted. But I'll get to the Gardens as soon as i can and I put that one on the list. BTW did everybody know that freshly dried heimia leaf gives a buzz very similar to marihuana when smoked? Don't believe it/ try it!
Guest DragonFyre Posted April 11, 2002 thanx for the tip Gomaos! will have to try that one out [This message has been edited by DragonFyre (edited 11 April 2002).]
gomaos Posted April 11, 2002 You'll find it's true. Excellent for mixing. Just updated the list today. Basically it's just no more peganums, gonna keep the one's I have, see how they'll go (strange things)and the trich cuttings won't be rooted anymore (sorry, must be the weather). Oh yeah, tobacco plants now can't be sold anymore [This message has been edited by gomaos (edited 12 April 2002).]

I just don't have the time to do it for him Thanks, Torsten. I know you would. You had already offered it to me a long time ago. Also, coin had already made a site for me, when he must have realized the same thing: He would just have to update it for me all the time, because plants don't stay the same, they grow and become dearer, or are sold out and you have to take them off the list. Here's what the site looked like, please ignore the prices, since they are old... http://hybrid.alphalink.com.au/gomaos/test3.htm So how can I learn html? Perhaps I should buy one of them pc instruction magazines? Would that work?

gomaos Posted April 19, 2002 Sorry, it's me again, I'm back (the central scrutinizer[frank zappa]) yeah those ones just have to go, they should go out of the box into pots but I got no money to buy pots or potting mix so I'll just put them on special: 3 Heimias, average 10cm $5 alexandria palm seedlings, 10cm average, 10 for $5 plus postage costs. Also Mesqualero, I bet you're very good at html. Could you take over the update on my Site, I'll just pay you with plants? Or anyone else? gomaos

But I wouldn't be surprised at all if it was slightly active. Couldn't find for F@ck of it anandanthera and Tabernathe Montana. I walked for a couple of hours until I got sick of it. At least I WALKED. Good for me. Will try again next week.
Fractalhead Posted April 27, 2002 Gomaos, that site looks fantastic!! Well done, Coin. I love the use of colour. Basic HTML isn't complicated.
