Ambient Posted September 30, 2011 Just trying to clarify which type of Brugmansia I have in the garden. As far as I can tell its a double white of some sort, just not sure exactly which. I'll post some close up pics when the light is better. Photos. Also I'm making a few cuttings for trade & will have them in the Seed & Plant Exchange once their rooted

0 Teotzlcoatl Posted October 5, 2011 (edited) Is it Brugmansia arborea (or aurea) 'Flore Pleno' or Brugmansia candida "Flora Plena"? I'm confused. Or it could be B. candida "Double white"? Does anybody really even know? Edited October 5, 2011 by Teotzlcoatl
0 Marcel Posted October 5, 2011 Whatever it is, it's a pretty thing. I've got the same one in my garden and although it's the showiest of all my Brugs, it's the least fragrant. It's also the most pest resistant.
0 2Deep2Handle Posted November 29, 2011 More info on this guys? i also have this and would like to know more. Agree with marcel, and very resilliant to two spotted and red spider mites. The whole plant turned red from em, and still managed to soldier through. Loves to almost swim in Dynamic lifter, and can handle liters upon liters of water almost everyday. Very fast growing.
