dreamscape Posted June 12, 2011 Hi all, a mate found these in some local gardens. Think there succulents but I have no idea. White sap came from where they were cut. Either way definitely some crazy looking plants. Thanx in advance for any helpful info.

0 Evil Genius Posted June 12, 2011 (edited) Yeah i heard you can go blind if you get that milky liquid in your eyes. So make sure to handle it with respect. I like Euphorbs but i am very hesistant to grow em as i kinda like looking at porn and fancy things. Edited June 12, 2011 by Evil Genius

0 dreamscape Posted June 13, 2011 Holy crap mac sounds like your incredibly accident prone or a rodeo clown. . Will make sure I keep it out of my eyes then I suppose. Dont have any pets or kids around so not to worried. Cheers guys appreciate the help. There some pretty scary looking spikes on the first one am keen to get em' in the ground. So can i plant them the same as cacti?
0 Moses Posted June 14, 2011 There some pretty scary looking spikes on the first one am keen to get em' in the ground. So can i plant them the same as cacti? i have a e.grandicornis about the same size as your pic, wait till you get new spines they are really soft and flexible and a purple colour. I love euphorbia cos they have some really nasty spinage which is what attracted me to cacti/succulents in the first place.
0 bogfrog Posted June 26, 2011 has anyone seen 'the gods must be crazy'? one guy shoots a big euphorbia tree with an arrow and drips the sap on another guy standing underneath it lol

0 Evil Genius Posted November 3, 2011 (edited) Prier, independently of this post i wanna express my respect because of your ID´s. I´ve been noticing this a few times now and im glad your around a little bit more often these days. Same goes for Torsten, Trucha, Archaea, WT, Andy, PD, Alchemica, Planthelper, Naja, Nitrogen, Hellonasty, Tripsis, Michael and everyone i forgot to mention. You know, there are so many cool people that post here on a regular basis that its impossible to name them all, so please dont be mad if i dont enclude the newer members here too. Im glad we have such competent and cool people around that always take the time to respond to almost every single post without pulling out the unfriendly UTFSE Card. Sometimes it takes time to give tips, ID´s and infos to newbies but the people here do it anyway because they want to share their knowledge and hand something over to the next generation. You know, a life can be short sometimes, but with our posts, we can always leave some kind of digital footprint that will be around for a lot longer. Sometimes, life isnt measured in the number of days you live but in the way you affect other peoples life for the better in the limited time period you have. And to me, it feels like we leave some fucking decent footprints. Im really proud to be part of this board. Just had the spontaneous need to mention this. :-) bye Eg Edited November 3, 2011 by Evil Genius
