Marcel Posted April 26, 2011 Here's my new little loph (thanks Tripsis!). My wife collects cute little ceramics from the 40's and 50's and I begged this one out of her. Perfect compliment to the loph shape, no? Drilled a lot of holes in the bottom and gave it a few little Fimo feet for easy drainage.

Marcel Posted May 8, 2011 Aw shucks, folks. Thanks for the kind words... I'll post some of my other cactus/ceramic combos soon. I have one very vagina-like vase that would work great with a small bridgesii penis plant...
paradox Posted May 8, 2011 yeah man looks great... i hate to bring the negative angle but the only prob is that when the roots fill it up you will have to destroy your wife's lovely pot in order to upgrade to a bigger one, as the opening of the pot is thinner than the body... that said it will probably look great when it gets bigger & fills up the opening more... Philocacti Posted May 8, 2011 i believe this will happen in a very very long time. I wouldnt worry about it in these up coming 10 years ;)
paradox Posted May 8, 2011 i believe this will happen in a very very long time. I wouldnt worry about it in these up coming 10 years ;) well yeah of course but an antique pot will be even 'more antique' in 10 years time
bit Posted May 9, 2011 Looks awesome Marcel, and don't worry you will be able to remove it from the pot with the help of a sharp knife and the expense of a few roots, as I'm sure you're aware
