Wanchese Posted December 2, 2010 Hello everyone! Im looking for name of some special herb that I saw somewhere on internet website, I completely for got its name. It woke up my interest because it was used by hunters to improve their concentartion and visual and auditory senses during hunting trips. Have anyone of you heard about plant with this specialisation?

Wanchese Posted December 2, 2010 I think it migth be Sceletium tortuosum, but Im not sure. I got photographic image on that in my head, and Im just trying to see something that will recall that .. Im sure that it wasnt from Australoasia, most likely North or South America, and maybe Africa (after seeing Sceletium tortuosum). Sceletium tortuosum, I will try with that, but if you know any other ones then it would be great. Thank you so much guys!
Fenris Posted December 3, 2010 Almost sounds like sapo, apparently its used for hunting, although its not a herb.
planthelper Posted December 3, 2010 (edited) isn't it funny that in the 3rd world, iboga, ephedra, sapo, yage and so on are all seen as good things which facilitate food. whilst our society is trained to say, if you use a drug, you are bad. some plant drugs, can give you endurance, some are said to enhance night vision, some of them are said to help the hunter to connect with the prey. no doubt, that those cultures function very sucessfully, because of herbal plant use. MORG Posted December 3, 2010 But seriously, if you want to go hunting and give yourself the best chance, give Sapo a go. Don't stuff around with chewing leaves, roots or fermented succulent. If you want to chase an antelope over savannah for a whole evening or spot monkeys 50m up in the canopy before they spot you, burn a hole in your skin and wipe some frog secretions in it. Vomiting, shitting and sweating you'll lay contorted on death's door for a night, but when you wake up in the morning, God it feels good to be alive. Ask Faustus.

Ajos Sacha has many spiritual uses, and is a favorite with hunters. Ritual purification of the fisherman's body, tools, and canoes with Ajos Sacha to assure a good catch, are common practice. The plant is also used in a "Baño de florecimiento", meaning "Flourishing bath" to attract good luck, wealth and prosperity into one's life. Good for luck!! PM me if ya can! apothecary Posted December 7, 2010 Some mentions here of Sapo/Kambo. My understanding that Sapo is only used when the hunting is hard, Matses tribes usually use a much less (but still extremely) potent snuff called Nu Nu. This is produced from Nicotiana rustica leaves and Theobroma bicolor inner barks. Some Amazonian tribes are using Piri Piri (Cyperus) root for hunting also. We should also not forget the ultimate hunting plant, Hoodia gordonii.
Wanchese Posted December 7, 2010 Hoodia gordonii... hmmm thats sounds so interesting! Thank you very much for that

incognito Posted December 11, 2010 some of ur moonshine would possibly fit the bill as well. Id imagine a threshold dose of shrooms would be of benefit hunting. Would definately get you in the zone, with increased vision and sensitivity. Im not the only person I know whos vision improves dramatically under the influence os shrooms. Its a phenomenon id like to hear more about. I had friend who wore coke-bottle bottom glasses. When we would venture on shrooms, she would take them off proclaiming it a miracle that she could see better with her glasses of than she ever has before. When the shroom effects wore of her vison would go back to being quite fuckered. Running on low dose shrooms is exillerating. Moderate doses of Mescaline I believe give me increased strength, like you could just bend an iron rod with ur hands. ANy increase above moderate though and you and up on ur back. MAybee a combo of a moderate mesc dose and low dose shrooms would have you owning prey animals asses quite comfortably?
Zen Peddler Posted December 12, 2010 some of them are said to help the hunter to connect with the prey. Or turn you into a werewolf willing to run like a dog and kill something with your teeth - ie cocaine... LOL Hoodia gordonii - isnt that the appetite suppressant? Low-moderate doses of mesc are great for bushwalking and tossing massive logs around a fire like they were kindling. Low doses of mushrooms are great for hunting more mushrooms.
