Magicdirt Posted August 25, 2010 (edited) It's hard to imagine 2 old guys with planks stomping out something as intricate as them in the dark of night. Some of the stems of the plants affected in crop circles show evidence of being superheated and rapidly cooled at the point where they have been bent, hardly the sort of thing that would happen if you stepped on them with a plank. I used to stare at crop circles as I started meditating and they seem to twist your reality and send you somewhere else - they're amazing. Great pics too ! botanika Posted August 30, 2010 It's hard to imagine 2 old guys with planks stomping out something as intricate as them in the dark of night. Some of the stems of the plants affected in crop circles show evidence of being superheated and rapidly cooled at the point where they have been bent, hardly the sort of thing that would happen if you stepped on them with a plank. It is however very easy to imagine an expert group of artists/designers carefully plotting out scaled designs on the computer and then transposing them onto a field. The crop stalk heating/cooling thing is a crock. Nice artwork though!

The Dude Posted August 31, 2010 It's hardest to imagine the unimaginable, hence we keep finding imagined explanations for it.
Amazonian Posted August 31, 2010 (edited) I like to believe that (some) crop circles are not man made. Makes life interesting. Edited August 31, 2010 by Amazonian
Sallubrious Posted September 1, 2010 (edited) Unless you are there to see it happen then how would you know. I don't think we are the only living thing in this huge universe. It would be a bit naive to believe it is just us. Edited September 1, 2010 by SallyD
