Nice plant Teotz. Is it wild collected? Looks pretty old.

I'm pretty sure they require cross pollenation to set seed. I've got two grafted onto peres stock and can't wait to produce my own seed.

fwiw, most ario's sold on e bay in the usa are collected from the wild, I know of only a handful of legit growers.

I actually met the person who is responsible, he runs a cactus wholesale only operation, with a minimum purchase of $5000.00. Many different rare & endangered cacti species are routinely harvested from the wild.

He operates out of Arizona with clients in Ca, Az, Nevada, Texas, Oklahoma etc.

At the time, I was offered 125 ario fiss, each between 8-13cm.
