mark80 Posted January 23, 2009 What if I wanted to fly to Peru or Brazil and obtain Diplopterys plants...How could I achieve this? Well, you would start by getting a passport and than buying the ticket and than getting on to a plane and flying over there. You would than get the plant and fly back over. You could also hope and pray and maybe with a little help of your "Lost peyotes" grow wings and than with a flaping motion and porbably gps you would than catch the north easterly air flow and than wityh gliding and flapping you could make it to brazil. Torsten Posted January 23, 2009 find someone who has a plant. make a deal with them. buy a ticket. pick it up. smuggle it back home. mind you, cuttings are very difficult apparently [and mostly fail], so try to get a rooted plant.
Teotzlcoatl Posted January 23, 2009 I'd also like to obtain a living a plant of Tetrapteris methystica. find someone who has a plant. make a deal with them. buy a ticket. pick it up. smuggle it back home. Sounds like a plan! I guess I've just got to work out the details.

H. hunab, there are many novo plants in oz (maybe left overs from when they were cultivated in oz), just be patient till you meet the right people, and anyway, they probably would die on you anyway, novo's are a bitch to grow, in most parts of australia. i used to know peopel who did spend thousands of dollars on novo, but they all died....
