Looking very promising Jack! Was that a seed grown plant that you have grown? I wonder if its siblings have shown any inclination towards the trait?

Yeah seed grown, aprox 18mths old. 50 plants from this batch no others have shown strange growth. Seed was mixture of my own, and from others all got mixed so no idea where the seed of the plant originates.

Will be very interesting to see how she looks in another 18 months! Have you considered grafting or are you purposely keeping this on its own roots? Its a tough decision in cases like this I think. You want to get her growing as fast as possible but you also want to maintain the perfection of keeping it unchopped...

I prefer plants on there own roots, I agree grafting speeds things up, but I am in no hurry.. its a bit like the old bull and the young bull ;)

Its still small, got destroyed by mites was really badley scarred, took years to grow out of it...
