What's this beast?

Question

The pic is rubbish (sorry) but this thing's an absolute Beast! :drool2: I was thinking some kinda Myrtillocactus but the owner says it has large pink flowers which doesn't seem very Myrtillocactus. I may be getting the whole thing! I don't think it's a Tricho sadly. I just can't wait to graft something onto it! :wink:

Why would you want graft on that it a beauty by itself. Put it in the ground!

Yes that shot is rubbish :) but it looks like a tricho be me. Would need a better pic for positive ID.

it looks similar too a trich but the branch emerging at that height is a good indicator that its not. trichs branch close to the ground

Without a better pic I'd hazard a guess at griseus.

Myrtillocactus sp. would be my guess. I think this due to where it's branching.

Have you seen it in flower yet? Flowers are by far the easiest way to ID something.
