BlackDragon Posted July 6, 2007 Thanks everyone. Im wondering on the stability of subs in this area. At least 2 disitinct types were noticed at this location if not more. Heres and old shroom, turning a beautiful buff colour, looking good for her age, sharing a similar shape to "unsual suspect" photo, far different from the typical sub at maturity.... Ahhh, gotta love em! BD

Francois le Danque Posted July 9, 2007 very niiiiiice still haven't got around to uploading pics from my camera....there is a LOT of variation around here, caps range from five cent coin to those miniature CDs, colour from almost white to bright orange. the white ones here look like those pale ones up there ^ eg post 130. as for people raiding my FOAF's dog's gnome's imaginary friend's patches, i doubt it. all of mine are very secluded (i mean...theirs). this is a small town and doubt anyone around here even knows what shrooms are... and would be shocked and appalled to learn that such evil critters were growing in their front yards. Maybe or FOAF's dog's gnome's imaginary friend should think about spawning a few of his own mulch chip patches with a few of his finds

ballzac Posted July 22, 2007 I posted these in the Melbourne thread, but I think these pics are worth making sure no one missed them. They were taken on a phone about five weeks ago. All found in the same mulch bed beside a car park.
apothecary Posted July 27, 2007 Well, it hasn't rained here in almost two weeks and the forecast is fine for another week. There was a shower forecast for tonight but it's dry as hell. If it doesn't rain soon I have a feeling that'll be the end of it for the Sydney season.
