?? Read the question i guess, it contains all the info you'll need. Bluelight, while being founded due to the ecstasy problem, isn't really related to MDMA anymore, it spans a very broad and general harm reduction policy towards drug use....don't write it off so simplistically tepa.

I don't get it...

I used to read bluelight very regularly. But I found a massive portion of what I read to be repertitive and not as informative as the topic title had me think. There are alot of positives about bluelight, (don't take offence) but the overall feeling I got from reading the threads was frustration. There is definetely some valuable info there though.

There are more reasons why I stopped visiting but I'm sunburnt and tired - and don't want to offend you bye not explaining them properly. I may try again tomorrow.

hey willow,

there are quite a few members here who've hung out on bluelight, but most probably have moved on a bit. Bluelight has some good content, but sadly a HUGE amount of noise, so once the bluelight curiosity has been sated they tend to find more specialised forums [like this one]. We try to keep the chatter on synth drugs as low as possible here and appreciate that bluelight provides services of that type so we don't have to . Our legal situation si rather restrictive.

Ive gotta say that in the past i've found the psychedelics forum at blulight an incomparable source of information. I reckon, apart from Shulgin's Logs and erowid (which are static), blulight psychedelic should be recorded in the annals of history for future reference. 200 years from now an encyclopeadiac version of BLUELIGHT:PSYCHEDELIA should be a staple in every library.

i read bluelight, not as much now (maybe once or twice a week) as before but it was a great way to find out a decent dosage for chems you have not tried before. lots of idiots on it tho, but you gotta expect that

I think its just server problems or hackers etc. I logged on this morning for about 20 mins then kaboom, no more Bluelight again. I'm sure its noit related to the alleged PMA death, but then I don't know. As far as i know its not hosted in russia but indeed, Australia.... could be wrong.

Torsten, as i have no major interest in synthetic chemicals or so-called 'research chems' i have been looking for a site more up my alley- that is, the ethnobotanical alley . I will agree that bluelight is awash with noise, but if one filters it out sufficently, 24db per octave style, theres some good info there. Recently, the psychedelic forum lost two very good moderators who had helped clean the place up a lot. The Big and Dandy threads should be and some are, linked from wikipedia to Bluelight- theres no other resource for people to discuss rare or unusual substances ascfar as i know.

I recognise some names from other forums, ie. Australiens and Oztrance. Nice

Bluelight,i just heard of it n found it last night while trying to go to another forum (wasent to bad) but if ur site using dirty underhanded hijack tactics to get more ppl then i will never return to it.

info on dosage, Obscure substances or Other ppls experiences and such

then Bluelight is the go

I was just curious as to the bluelight pop amongst this forum, i couldn't care less if more people join the site, theres thousands anyway. Please don't take my posting this thread as some sort of promotion- just curiousity from a newbie.

Totally agree I just couldn't figure out what JesusOnPeyote meant. Either way, Bluelight is actually trying to have more cross-sourcing between web forums- eg. a partnership with MAPS has begun, erowid source a lot of their trip reports from Bluelight etc. Bluelight is inherently flawed, due to its touchy subject matter, but its been around 4 a long time which indicates some success.....

With the amount of members there you could start a city. Personally i prefer small towns though

I do visit BL often and go there mainly for fun due to the argumentitive nature of some members that just cant wait to take the bait, the yanks just hate the aussies being right lol.

Some ppl there have sum very warped views on anything from drugs to current affairs, but this is the same as regular society, the more people you have in the one place the more different views there are gonna be. If you find it too much to "wade" through, then just pick one area and stick with that. E.G. Australian drug discussion is a good one to help educate sum misguided individuals at times and i know a member or two here that cannot get enuff of the current events and politics section.

But like i have said to a few people, BL is my playground, SAB is my home

nah i ment actual hijacking of sites, on this other forum in which i will not name whenever i click on it in the last 2/3 days it usually goes to bluelight.. and iv gone to that forum for a long time n never heard anything about bluelight.
