Thaks for the help people . I ended up just taking some paracetemol which settled it down. I have a wisdom tooth ripping its way out of my gum just below the sore ear, which I think has something to do with it (well, the 3 other wisdom teeth caused simlar sensations prior to being removed...) ^Yeah, I've read and heard the same (and felt I guess I should add...) I've only taken amanita muscaria 5-6 times with only 3 successful ingestions (psychedelic effects being felt). It was only the times when I didn't notice such effects that the drooling/sweating was really prominent. Which doesn't really make sense to me...

Hey there, whats a good remedy for earaches when swallowing? I am seeing my GP tomorrow, but am in a fair bit of discomfort, and i can't take painkillers. Any help appreciated.

It seems inacurate to describe ketamine (or other NMDA antagonists) as inducing a near death experience, because the sensory blackout of ketamine/others extends fully towards the emotions too. Its very hard to feel terror in the depths of a k-hole; very hard to feel bliss too. Smaller doses are a different matter... There are two substances that always lead me to make analogies to death; the first being salvia (instead of actively wondering if I have died, it seems reasonable to assume that such intense dislocation is the result of death) and 5-MeO-DMT. The second being unbearbly violent, and very unpleasant at high doses. A gentle NDE could be attempted with DMT, 5-Meo-DMT and salvia, if the latter pair are used very sparingly. On the other hand, no matter the dosage of DMT, I no longer fear it at all, and we could look at ~200mg doses as being very effective. That said, I do believe that once we ingest enough of these substances to induce a "pseudo"-NDE, we are getting close to literal danger. Its odd that people assume that psychedelic induced NDE's are essentially analogous and somehow 'not real', even though all our sense insist it be so. To the brain; the primitive parts of the brain at least; there's no real delineation between fake possible death and real possible death (thus, such aberrations as panic attacks). I don't opt for lrge doses of these things at the moment as I have epilepsy; though I have a tendency to mistake the epileptic aura for the ineffable psychedelic glow, and then further into the psychedelic death experience...I don't wish to combine both epileptic death aura syndrome with psychedelic death aura syndrome.

I'm going to put a different spin on this- I've been both the stolen from and the stealer. The stolen from part involved my brother too- he was a heroin addict and I caugt him going through my wallet about 5 years ago. Of note is that this was the time that I actually caught him; money had vanished from my wallet before and I'd let it slide. I was 23 at the time and he was 28; my own history precluded me from getting angry at him- in the end I simply "lent" hime $100 and said no more. Subsequently, he has gotten clean and is now a teacher at a well known Melbournian private school. My own theft (something I was deeply ashamed about) ocurred between the ages of 18-21 when I was really badly addicted to heroin and meth. I stole money from my parents (and a lot) as well as selling some of my dads old vinyl's. It was this behaviour, so shameful and cruel, that inspired me to get help. I've been addicted to things since then but never as badly; I will never go back to that desperate selfishness and have learned to control my own addictive behaviour, for fear of it driving me back to theft. So far its worked, and I'm now "clean", if being on suboxone is considered clean. For what its worth, neither of parents ever truly realised that I had stolen things; my dad was also an opiate addict, and my mum is not entirely grounded ;) This may sound odd, but a lot of addicts or chronic drug users will steal off family, as its almost seen as less immoral. It can also be born from the idea of unconditional love- "Home is the place where, when you go there, they have to take you in"- its false logic but enough to justify shifty behaviour. Kee- I said to my brother "If you need money, ask me, and I'll give you it with no questions asked- if you steal from me, I will give you nothing even if you beg" (or something along those lines). Some people find asking for money to be more shameful then stealing it, as was the case with my brother...

I really like Into The Light. Kinda reminds me of 80's Motorhead...Catchy melody (I was singing along already by my second listen) and cool guitar solo. I guess you know that the drums sound really bad though; the fills are very robotic. You know the sensation one can get in waking life of unreality; you might simply be walking down the street and suddenly ask yourself 'is this a dream?'- the opposite ocurring (ie. asking yourself 'am I awake?' while dreaming) is quite an odd sensation. Leads to a whole lot of odd metaphysical complications...

I can't not have lucid dreams. I'v had them; along with sleepwalking/talking/extreme hypnagogic hallucinogenia since I was a youngster, as well as almost permamenet insomnia. The sleep I do have is almost always that deep type, almost immediately plunged into incredibly bizarre dreamscapes- which iteself can almost immediately wake me up. In my own experience, cannabis dulls this a fair bit; caffeine stimulates it; any psychedelic or entheogen colours it darkly, and removes luciditiy to a degree; opiates make lucidity total. I would say that the lucid "dream" state feels like returning to an ongoing train of thought that is supressed during "waking" moments. An interesting phenomemon is deja vu within a dream, or the sense of "waking" life having the same ethereal quality that dreamland does, just inverted. A frigtening feeling is a dream within a dream- if this happens (for me) it tends to be multiple layers of dream-wthin-ness. The sense of deja vu almost feels dangerous. See you in your dreams ahahahaha....sorry :D

Not worth the risk, though I've had a few mysterious goods ne'er arrive, including cannabinoids and PEA's, but this was a year or 3 ago.
