    stupid girl

I feel for you bro ! Gotta be strong! If she comes a crallin back, think with your head not with your heart. Chances are if they have cheated once they'll do it again and you'll be going through this all again. She may be feeling the grass is greener but thats still no excuse to cheat. If you care for someone you don't do the dirty on them. The right thing for her to do would of been to break up before hand if she is having mixed emmotions. Seeing as she cheated and your the one that broke it off i'd say she doesn't know what she wants, lil lost and confused. Steer clear, a women in that state is an emmotional rollercoaster that you don't want to riding on! Especially since your pretty emmotionally fucked up yourself thanks to her. Put as much distance between her and yourself as you can to give yourself time to heal. Any contact with her will just stir up the wound. Since you have known her for so long it'll prolly take a while, its not forever though, one day you'll prolly be close friends. Some times that is better than being lovers Take care bud, keep your mind entertained and off thoughts of her and what could of been. You've got a lonley road to walk for the next couple of months. You'll be stronger and wiser at the end though. I wish you well.

    Blue Staining Boletus?

Its not a Boletus erythropus. The pores are the wrong colour. On a Boletus erythropus the pores are dark red turning orangish with age. These pores a lemon yellow.
  7. Saffron Milk Cap. Made a couple of plates, see how they go... EDIT: Well I'll be F*cked, just looked up Lactarius deliciosus and they are the Saffron milk cap. Now thats a co-inkidink! They grow like mad around the pine forests here. Next rain I'll see if I can get some samples and some prints. Bleeding Milk Cap grows here as well apparently, even better eating than the Saffron I'm told. Nab some of those if I find me some as well Any one interested in prints ??

    evolution is bullshit

Hahaha ! The old evolution vs creation / Science vs Religon debate. What a waste of time! Ppl believe what they want to beleive no matter what conflicting evidence is found. They see what they want to see from a perspective that supports their beliefs. No one wants to accept that their core beliefs are false and have to change their comfey and familiar perspective on life. Personally I agree with the thread title, evolution is bullshit. Life walks way to fine a line to of happened by chance. Life is such a delicate balance of intricate variety and variability all working together for one purpose, to continue. A higher intelligence is at work, the complexities that allow life to flurish are beyond comprehension. I agree natural selection is something that happens everyday of the week, its part of life. Not evolution by any means but adaptation to changing environments. Thats my opinion and belief. At any rate no one can prove beyond doubt either way so arguing for or against is a waste of time Another one of my opinions hehe. Take care all.

which P. cubensis strains grow wild in oz

I'm with ace on this one I think. I would think the mechanism for dispersal as regards animals would be external. Spores getting caught on the feet or face and dislodging later, where by chance their craped on and provided the conditions to grow. Do equine/bovine eat mushrooms or do they ignore them? I feel an experiment coming on. I got a buddy with a horse, maybe if I feed it some material with spore laiden feed and catch the poopie when it follows through then incubate it and see if anything grows. Wanna be pretty dedicated to carry the experiment out but this would answer the question I guess. One day when I have the time I'll give it a go.

    Peres and Aphids

Recently I've had problems with caterpillers eating my peres. It annoyed me cause they seem to find the growing tip the tastiest part. Anyway I wasn't to worried, when I found one I'd pluck it off and feed it to my venus fly traps . But now I'm getting aphids on the peres which is worrying me. They seem to have migrated from a sunflower to the peres. The damage they have done to the sunflower is rather dramatic, seems to have severly weekened the poor plant. I really don't want this to happen to my peres as I will soon be needing some nice health specimens for my baby lophs that have just poped up. I didn't think aphids would attack peres but they've made a home at the tips. Whats the best and most organic course of action for dealing with these lil green vampires? I've read about green lacewings but I think it will be to cold here for them coming up to winter. Maybe pyrethrin? How does peres handle pyrethrin srays? There's prolly a simple answer to the problem.

    Blue Staining Boletus?

Appeniculatus and Luridus are very very similar. The main differences being luridus has a club shaped stripe that is dark red at the base. The tubes and the flesh of the cap are seperated by a red line. Appeniculatus has a swollen stripe that comes to a rounded point at the base, lemon yellow to dirty ocher at the base. Both turn blue upon cutting. Looks like the main differences are the red line between the cap flesh and the tubes and also the colour of the base of the stripe. Based on this I would say its appeniculatus. There is no red line visible between the cap flesh and the tubes. Pitty we can't see the base of the stripe.

    Blue Staining Boletus?

There are a few Boletus that look similar but I think this one is Boletus Luridus, commonly called Lurid Bolete. Found in well lit mixed or deciduous forests on limestone soil in early summer through to autumn. Considered to be very good to eat, but may cause some intestinal upsets. EDIT: Forgot to mention the Lurid Bolete is not active.

    Peres and Aphids

Thanx shruman Verified safe! Tried with my fingers but they seem to stick some how like they have a webbing or something. Also There are way to many on the sunflower to remove by hand and I'll have to deal with these also so they don't return next week. Don't like sprays but sometimes you have no choice Thanx everyone for your help

    Peres and Aphids

Hmmmm.... Biological would def be the best approach, however I think this is best to keep a pests population under control on a continual basis. I think I need more of a quick fix solution to get the nasties back down to a manageble level. They seem to be partying unchallenged ATM. I have seen lady bugs about but not for a month or so now, this is prolly why the aphids have managed to swell their ranks recently. Gonna have to spray'em for now I think and organise some bug munchers for next season If I can get some verification on the pyrethrin I'll go ahead, or any better suggestions for a solution.
