  1. My favorite shade tree is an Albizia saman, while their impressive, they are not decidious. What about a Ginkgo biloba?
  2. Looking for cuttings or root division.
  3. Using self depreciation to bring the thread back on topic. It's good to see you have not lost your sense of humour, considering the rising sea levels have forced you to live a semi aquatic existence.
  4. Ancona Ducks This little Olive Python thought my son's messy hair would make a good place to hide. Cheeky Agile Wallaby joey
  5. Mate they sound spaztastic, PMing right now.
  6. Mate, pan's and cub's, when ever its warm, wet and humid. Pan's are another dung loving fungi. No sub's up this way, but I think when it's cold, wet and humid.
  7. Mate, morays are such cool, fascinating critters. I want to learn more about this enzyme, can you point me in the right direction. With morays being fish and snakes reptiles, I doubt it is devolution, more likely convergent evolution. Why they haven't lost it, is interesting. There may be some purpose for the enzyme we have not yet found, or the gene responsible may be linked to another trait. For instance I know some morays produce a toxic skins mucus which makes them less palatable as well as binding and protecting their burrows. Could this be genetically linked to their venom gland? Morays have an alien style second jaw, made necessary to overcome the lack of suction caused by their mouth structure. Could the venom gland be an aborted, or even a still evolving, alternative solution to that problem?
  8. Hi soloman, It's been a while since I used lights, but used them a lot back when. The 3 CFL's you have should do for what you want, but generally with plants the more light the better. The fittings are easy to get from Bunnings and to wire in line on an extension cord. LED's are great, they are cheap to run and run cold, which is so good here in the tropics. The only real problem is that they loose lumens quick over distance, not a problem for seedlings. Mate use what ya got and go from there.
  9. Yeh, Helix Nebula, I got them as a novelty for the kids, but I'm actually a bit impressed. A lot of chill's don't cope too well in the wet season, these things thrived. It's about time I gave back to you!
  10. Give away to a good home. Hangjiao #5, large, mild-medium heat, few seeds, good producer of heavy fruit (need tying up). First 5 to put your hand up.
  11. Yellowing between the veins like that is usually iron or manganese. To high a PH can lock up iron. EDDHA iron works over a broad range. Another cause of both the chlorosis and the curling, is the dirt being too wet (root rot).
  12. Mate great list. Personally I think its a taxonomic error to separate these into different species, but using most peoples terms, bridgesii: Kai Glenrowan macrogonus: Tipz Field's macrogonis scopulicola: HELON (like Spooge keeps saying 'the Australian clone is spelled with capitols') to me looks similar to Super Pedro, so I put it in the same place.
  13. Mate it sucks, but I'm with Zedo . It's definitely illegal, but the cunts are just going to deny it. Put some cameras up so your ready next time.
  14. Discussions around this topic is a bit problematic. Here it is called Mamajinga, and is unfortunately something we need to deal with the victims of, all too often. Yet talking about it, is taboo, I suspect it will be similar in most cultures. Besides discussions around specifics, on a public forum, could spread its use.
  15. If you are looking for a more scientific approach, to ways to expand conciseness a good place to start is Huxley's Doors of perception, Heaven and Hell. While he's not a scientist as such, he is an academic and a fine writer. The appendices in Heaven and Hell contain some interesting experiments. Like how he uses repetitive music, strobe lights and carbon dioxide as psychedelics. It's a shame most modern raves have moved away from dry-ice smoke machines in favour of liquid chemical, missing out on the full mind bending effects of this trifecta. 16. Over the years I've met many Shaman. The first was back in the early Nineties. He was doing Aya ceremony's in Bali as part of a corporate retreat for Japanese business executives. I'm not bagging the fella, he was a good bloke and clearly knew his stuff. However, despite what his business card said, this is not what I consider a Shaman. To me a Shaman is a healer, not a business man, they are found working with needy villagers, not doing ceremony's for wealthy tourists. It's just my opinion, but if you have the choice between doing a ceremony with a knowledgeable friend, in a relaxed setting, or going with someone who cares more about the content of your wallet, that your mind. I think the answer is obvious.
  17. Yeh, I've used chrome and the standard too, both work well enough. I used Dolphin on my last phone, it's another good one.
  18. Thanks Karode13, generous mate. I put my hand up.
  19. Mate, that one seriously thorough post
  20. Look up Copelandia cyaescens, according to Erowid they grow in NZ so mast handle the cold. Mate in the North and in Asia these things are every where a buffalo poops. In my opinion much better than cubes.
  21. Is the top oily, does the stem blue if you squeeze it?
