  1. Established clones of a favourite cultivar -- clones of a mother originally purchased as a seedling in Nimbin, around 20 years ago. Mature growth often spineless, with striking (almost iridescent) blue hues. These two are due for a repot. Limited number available. Message me if interested.

  2. Time for Sub foraging. I have heard many myths about subs. How they don't grow up Northern rivers or Qld, how they are found in pine forests, or eucalypt etc, which is kind of misleading. Last year I took it on myself to do some research regarding subs in the Northern Rivers NSW region, and heres what I discovered. Subs are plentiful in Northern NSW when the conditions are right. Lots of rain and below 10C. This tip Im about to share is probably the most important thing I learned last year. When it floods or we have very heavy rain, the streams, creeks, rivers leave piles of debris on the banks. During the floods the debris is also colonised by sub spore. As time passes the whole pile of debris will become colonised, and when conditions are right, you will find fruit in these piles of debris all along the banks. Hope this helps someone find some beautiful specimens this season.

  6. I was gonna say stinging nettle. If the other drug you're talking about is finasteride or diasturide it stops the conversion of testosterone to DHT. It actually increase testosterone due to less conversion tondht. It doesn't lower it or convert it. It lowers dht levels which as you stated can lead to halting of hairloss or slowing of hair loss but few will see regrowth and if so minimally. Similar mechanism is why it decreases or halts prostate growth. It can cause gyno but it wont happen over night and can easily be halted and reversed with tamoxifen. Worst part is it'll likely give you erectile dysrunction, for some it will last as long as you take it for others it last as long as your hormones take to re-stablise and adjust to the drug. For others it won't effect ot at all. It's not a bad drug, it just as it pros and cons and an enlarged prostate can cause a lot of issues later on, so pros and cons. Finasterirde only converts 70% diasturide is close to 100%.

  8. It is well established that psychedelic substances do occasion mystical experiences, and they continue to be used for religious and spiritual reasons. Despite the link between psychedelics and spirituality, there seems to be little follow-up in regard to the long-term changes in regards to specific religious and spiritual practices that psychedelic mystical experiences instigate and maintain. My questions to you are: How have psychedelics altered your religious and/or spiritual practice, and if so, where has it led you? Did psychedelics reinforce your existing believes or did psychedelics cause a major redirection in your religious and/or spiritual practice? My journey started by being raised in the Seventh Day Adventist Church, an experience completely devoid of any notion of a direct ecstatic experience of the divine. Interestingly enough, my first true transformative experience was through participation in a Voodoo ritual complete with animal sacrifice and fire worship, where for the first time I experienced a trance-like state akin to spirit possession. The next was a physical ordeal as part of martial arts practice tied to Shinto and Buddhist practices; over a period of several hours of rhythmic group vocalization under physical stress, I transcended my body, becoming an energetic wave. However, the mainstay of my everyday personal religious life was Soto Zen Buddhism; however, this was a more gradual transformative practice. It was only when I sought out psychedelics to address questions that had remained unanswered that I came to realize that I have always sought those experiences hinted at but that institutionalized religion could never provide: a direct becoming of existence, a non-dualism of Being. My exposure to psychedelics, admittedly later in life, has radically fractured and transformed the quality of my religious feeling and sentiment; it could not have been more distinct. It has transformed my own understanding of what it means to live and instigated within me a deep appreciation for the profundity contained within millennia of classical religious wisdom and practice. Through a process of serendipity and synchronicity, I am now able to draw upon a classical lineage of teachers that ensures me with "corrective thought" while providing me a scaffolding for a sustaining a burgeoning spirituality sustained beyond the transient well spring of psychedelics.

  9. I came from the ultimate spiritual void of not being open to anything other than science. Dismissing the Sacred. Eventually I think that asserted itself in a rather heavy way of coming through via endogenous ASCs etc. Over the years I realised there's got to be more to life. Started thinking there's new ways on feeling and being that don't revolve around analysing everything. How could I feel and embrace more love. Eventually, I came to the viewpoint that I needed a down-to-Earth spirituality. During the earlier stages, I was more 'open to experience', going to new places such as attending Buddhist structured meditations, prayer etc but in the end, just became more centred in wanting to be a better human in small ways. I got into structured breathwork, explored some personal meditation stuff. Sitting with Cacao in ceremony etc These words resonated for me in terms of down-to-earth spirituality Dear Human: It’s Okay to Be Both Sacred AND Wild ⋆ LonerWolf

  10. Had the chance to make something more permanent in the way of a healing garden: As a group, we all contributed our individual skills to help create the garden. It was featured in a newsletter: https://www.centacare.org.au/news/a-new-healing-garden-blooms-at-wandana-community-centre. The project was sparked from my interest in therapeutic gardens for healing "The heart is like a garden: it can grow compassion or fear, resentment or love. What seeds will you plant there?” -Jack Kornfield The garden as a healing space has been something I've always valued, maybe you too have benefited from the restorative and healing nature of gardens. From a sense of connection to Life, Mother Earth and Beyond, to radical inclusion, to opportunities for reciprocity and contribution, to an opportunity to foster new ways of being in the world, it's always been fertile soil for some potential aspect of growth, even with limitations. It started as this: Slowly, it became this: It features a Lotus/Lily pond and areas to relax and heal In my personal experiences, I've seen how much the environment has the potential to intensify the consequences of various impairments and potentially exacerbates behavioural problems, or conversely, helps in the positive scaffolding of mental and cognitive disorders and related emotional distress. Green spaces and healing gardens have demonstrated objective and measurable improvements in well-being. Some common aims: - increased socialisation opportunities including with communicatively challenged individuals - feeling of self-determination and control - quieter places for solitude - increase the meaningful activity in their lives. - Reminiscence - Sensory stimulation - Sense of independence
