Not as much as the facade of responsible, family-friendly fresh food people Woolworths also operating the largest network of poker machines in Australia through their ALH Group, an ever-expanding network of 300 hotels making billions of dollars in gambling revenue. Not to mention the plethora of bottleshops under the WW umbrella (Dan Murpheys, BWS, even their 'own brand' beer), they are profiting from the misery & addiction of others. Steal from the big supermarkets if it pleases you, but bear in mind that they will simply factor the projected loss into next years price hike, so the customers are paying more to cover the shoplifters. In fact I dare say they have forecasted on the losses before introducing the new checkouts. On the self-service machines, they are disgusting. Along with many low level office jobs going to Indian contracted companies, non-fixable, disposable appliances and local manufacturing on it's death bed, these checkouts are another nail in the coffin that will drive this country into the worst Depression imaginable in our lifetime.

The plastic one I bought less than 6 months ago had literally blowin itself to pieces and was at the point of being more duct tape than plastic! So I found this on Trademe for the cost of 2x new plastic ones. It looks to be a few years old, but plenty of life left in it yet! I've used rust converter on the galvanised base where it was starting to wear/rust. Had to extend the boxing I had put down for the other greenhouse which was a bit of a mission, but here it is! I've used the shelving from the plastic one inside until ai have time to build some better shelving. Oh and the ugly brown fence is on the list of things to replace - should be replaced with a nice black fence like the rest of it.

Hi, and welcome. You have come to the right place. E-Bay sellers can often charge a ridiculous small fortune for cacti plants & seeds. Shoot me your details via PM, and I'll donate a couple of tiny Bridgii x seedlings to help get your collection underway. Some other places for sourcing stuff : http://www.herbalistics.com.au/shop/catalog/ http://www.seedsaustralia.net/shop/

You guys must be sick of me taking photos of Datura lol. This is interesting, a new plant's bloom has just started opening, this one is a real rich purple. Like the Purple triple swirls you see on line. Its gonna be a nice full formed triple by the looks too.

I think that would be to a large extent Baby Boomers You've got to understand where they are coming from to understand their belief system. Many from that generation have lived their entire lives as good corporate citizens and their belief systems (that you touched on ie brainwashing & propaganda) are deeply instilled and unwaivering. In many respects that ideology is reinforced by their material success, there has never been any need or desire to think on a different plane because their ideology has netted them everything they desire -two houses, two cars and now that many have re-paid the bank, to them the system just works. Anything that doesn't fit in with this materialistic paradigm to them just seems wrong, for them it has worked well and they expect the successive generations to blindly follow their lead and play the game of whoever dies with the most shit wins. The game is expected to played by rules that have dictated largely by corporate moguls such as Dupont General Electric and the like. If you were to put yourself in their shoes, growing up post WW2 with the arse hanging out their pants and then watch the western world transform into a prosperous utopia (in comparison to the poverty they were born into) then you could start to appreciate their belief in the system, a system for them has worked very well. Given all what I've touched on, anything that doesn't fit into that paradigm (living your life with the primary motivation of material gain) just doesn't resonate with their belief system. Let's face it, from that perspective a teenager spending his days and or nights perusing anything other than material gain is just not right and seeing and hearing about people fucked up on drugs (some of them make no distinction between heroin, marijuana or speed) just reinforces that belief system. The sensationalist current affairs type programs that they love serve to reinforce this as well. I'd go out a limb and suggest that about half of them couldn't give a shit either way, but the ones that do think MJ is wrong are very motivated to prevent it becoming legal because they think we will end up like some of the third world countries where MJ is part of the culture. They won't look outside their materialistic belief systems and appreciate the economic factors that have kept those countries in dark ages ages ie the world bank and big corporations. So they will forgive you if you get pissed at the Christmas party and pretend to fuck the dog in front of the kids, just don't get stoned and sit in the corner.

Successful pollination I am very happy to have about 70 seeds sitting here, all from three flowers. Photo of the fruit opened. Warning to all! In these photos you can see the ants trying to steel my seeds, I found them in the morning, if I had not noticed they would of took them all by the afternoon. The mother: The father:

Awesome Toast. I know you've only just started but I really feel already that having you work there is such a positive move for everyone, business and customer alike. Having this sort of regular communication from within Wandjina is fantastic.

Cool, so no dogs in the past either? They have become standard at many mainstream festies, searching punters for.... things Gotta say that I was blown out at how self-governing regrowth was. The 'security' were volunteer 'heads', the first aid tent was a ghost town, because nobody couldn't handle their shit, people looked out for each other if they fell while in the dance pit. We could meander aimlesly for miles on the property for times where we wanted to get away from it all. Not a single fight or altercation took place in three days. The audio quality from all the stages restored my faith in live music, knowing that there are still top sound engineers out there (wouldnt think so based on rock gigs I go to), and the food was cheap and tasty, not to mention an endless supply of chai. So yea, if that's anything to go by, we'll be going to Rainbow Serpent !

i once got a job as a gardener on an estate in London. first time out w/the mowers (Toro brand iirc) & no-one bothered to tell me there were 3 gears on the thing & that mine was set in the highest gear. i could barely keep up w/the thing & trying to turn it round nearly did fling me off my feet. ov course the other guys were pissing themselves laughing. eventually one ov the estate residents came over & showed me the gears.

Religious lobby groups I reckon, they have become a very powerful force recently on polls and areas such as comment sections on newspaper pages and the likes. Its like the bastards swarm like locusts these days at the first sign of "green pick" to drown out any opposing view.....
