Hybrid Chilli Seed give away

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

I want to give away approx 100 seeds, and some fresh chilli pods, all in one lot. I would appreciate it if the winner could share them around a bit if they are in a position to do so.

The plant is a hybrid of Naga Jolokia (Ghost Chilli) mother X Scotch Bonnet (very tasty habanero) father, it grows with extreme vigour and is pest/disease resistant. In the Sydney climate it generally will survive winter and gets bigger each year, this year I've had well over 300 pods which are very tasty and extremely hot.

Simply post here if you want them and I will pick a winner soon.

I will pay postage

Only available to Australia and NZ

Nope these were done by Neil of Hippy Seed Company, I'm just growing and spreading them around because it is such an awesome plant.

i was wondering how easy it is to hybridize chillies , i have all mine growing close together.. many different varieties and the bees have been visiting flower after flower so there could be some randomness showing next season. It would be cool to choose the parents though.. im guessing a paint brush , and exclusion from undesired parents... Actually i had to hose my ass down just before because of a burning ring of fire hahaha, oh chillies such a fine line between pleasure and pain

If you plant them close together bees can and do create hybrids :)
