gomaos Posted February 2, 2007 took me a long time to think of something since I know so much music but this here jimi hendrix song if 6 was 9 sure influenced me a lot when i heard it the first time, when I was approx 17 years old, in 1969 Jimi Hendrix if 6 was 9 (Yeah, sing a song bro'...) If the sun refused to shine I don't mind, I don't mind (Yeah) If the mountains ah, fell in the sea Let it be, it ain't me. (Well, all right) Got my own world to live through and uh, ha ! And I ain't gonna copy you. Yeah (sing the song brother...) Now if uh, six uh, huh, turned out to be nine Oh I don't mind, I don't mind uh ( Well all right... ) If all the hippies cut off all their hair Oh I don't care, oh I don't care. * Dig. 'Cause I've got my own world to live through and uh, huh And I ain't gonna copy you. White collar conservative flashin' down the street Pointin' their plastic finger at me, ha ! They're hopin' soon my kind will drop and die but uh I'm gonna wave my freak flag high, high ! ** Oww ! Wave on, wave on... Ah, ha, ha Fall mountains, just don't fall on me Go ahead on mister business man, you can't dress like me *** Yeah ! Don't nobody know what I'm talkin' about I've got my own life to live I'm the one that's gonna die when it's time for me to die So let me live my life the way I want to Yeah, sing on brother, play on drummer *=very visionary that part; if 6 was 9= 60s turned to 90s and all the hippies cut off all their hair and became technoheads (tranceheads?) **= "white collar conservative= the essence of all evil!!! after listening to this song a few times when I was 17, I decided to definitely NOT become a plastic person. Why plastic person? Does it need explaining? Well sometime early to mid 20th century some evil american business leaders decided that plastic was better for THEIR system than hemp, even if hemp is 10000 times better than plastic and renewable, so those are the original "plastic people". "Plastic people"=people who embrace the nuclear lifestyle, technological progress etc and disregard the environment and what will be left for their/our children. "Plastic fantastic lover"(a song by jefferson airplane)= those "lovers' who think sex is a sport and that physical achievements are all that matters, disregarding love, trust, emotions, and spirituality. "plastic fantastic lovers" see their partners as objects made of flesh simply there to satisfy their lust. (to hell with them!!!) ***= ditto
gomaos Posted February 3, 2007 thought i might add this one because it's so beautiful. Strangely enough, I never listened to them much in the past, just lately I discover what a great band they were/are (RIP jerry garcia master of the guitar). The music to this one is very meditative and trippy Blues For Allah Lyrics: Robert Hunter Music: Jerry Garcia Arabian wind, the needle's eye is thin The ships of state sail on mirage and drown in sand Out in no man's land, where Allah does command What good is spilling blood? It will not grow a thing "Taste eternity", the swords sing Blues for Allah, Insh'Allah They lie where they fall, there's nothing more to say The desert stars are bright tonight, let's meet as friends The flower of Islam, the fruit of Abraham The thousand stories have come round to one again Arabian night, our gods pursue their flight What fatal flowers of darkness bloom from seeds of light Bird of Paradise fly in the white sky Blues for Allah, Insh'Allah Let's see with our heart these things our eyes have seen And know the truth must still lie somewhere in between Under eternity Under eternity Under eternity blue Under eternity Under eternity Under eternity blue Bird of Paradise fly in white sky Blues for Allah, Insh'Allah
stonewolf Posted February 4, 2007 R.E.M. - I'll take the rain the rain came down the rain came down the rain came down on me. the wind blew strong the summer song fades to memory I knew you when I loved you then the summer's young and helpless. you laid me bare you marked me there the promises we made. I used to think as birds take wing they sing through life so why can't we? if you cling to this and claim your best if this is what you're offering I'll take the rain I'll take the rain the nighttime creases summer schemes and stretches out to stay. the sun shines down you came around you love easy days. but now the sun, the winter's come. I wanted just to say that if I hold I'd hope you'd fold open up inside, inside of me. I used to think as birds take wing they sing through life so why can't we? if you cling to this and claim your best If this is what you're offering I'll take the rain I'll take the rain this winter song I'll sing along I've searched its still refrain I'll walk alone I've given this, take wing celebrate the rain. I used to think as birds take wing they sing through life so why can't we? if you cling to this and claim your best If this is what you're offering I'll take the rain I'll take the rain I'll take the rain. gomaos Posted February 12, 2007 (edited) at the beginning of the 90s public enemy seemed to be getting very influential. Watching their "fight the power" video clip, I thought this is it! Finally they're gonna rise up, march on Washinton and kick that fuckwit Bush senior out of office. Sadly, that never happened. Instead now we have Ice-T on tv in "law and order" what a hippocrit!!! Black Steel In The Hour Of Chaos I got a letter from the government The other day I opened and read it It said they were suckers They wanted me for their army or whatever Picture me given' a damn - I said never Here is a land that never gave a damn About a brother like me and myself Because they never did I wasn't wit' it, but just that very minute... It occured to me The suckers had authority Cold sweatin' as I dwell in my cell How long has it been? They got me sittin' in the state pen I gotta get out - but that thought was thought before I contemplated a plan on the cell floor I'm not a fugitive on the run But a brother like me begun - to be another one Public enemy servin' time - they drew the line y'all To criticize me some crime - never the less They could not understand that I'm a Black man And I could never be a veteran On the strength, the situation's unreal I got a raw deal, so I'm goin' for the steel They got me rottin' in the time that I'm servin' Tellin' you what happened the same time they're throwin' 4 of us packed in a cell like slaves - oh well The same motherfucker got us livin' is his hell You have to realize - what its a form of slavery Organized under a swarm of devils Straight up - word'em up on the level The reasons are several, most of them federal Here is my plan anyway and I say I got gusto, but only some I can trust - yo Some do a bid from 1 to 10 And I never did, and plus I never been I'm on a tier where no tears should ever fall Cell block and locked - I never clock it y'all 'Cause time and time again time They got me servin' to those and to them I'm not a citizen But ever when I catch a C-O Sleepin' on the job - my plan is on go-ahead On the strength, I'ma tell you the deal I got nothin' to lose 'Cause I'm goin' for the steel You know I caught a C-O Fallin' asleep on death row I grabbed his gun - then he did what I said so And everyman's got served Along with the time they served Decency was deserved To understand my demands I gave a warnin' - I wanted the governor, y'all And plus the warden to know That I was innocent - Because I'm militant Posing a threat, you bet it's fuckin' up the government My plan said I had to get out and break north Just like with Oliver's neck I had to get off - my boys had the feds in check They couldn't do nuthin' We had a force to instigate a prison riot This is what it takes for peace So I just took the piece Black for Black inside time to cut the leash Freedom to get out - to the ghetto - no sell out 6 C-Os we got we ought to put their head out But I'll give 'em a chance, cause I'm civilized As for the rest of the world, they can't realize A cell is hell - I'm a rebel so I rebel Between bars, got me thinkin' like an animal Got a woman C-O to call me a copter She tried to get away, and I popped her Twice, right Now who wanna get nice? I had 6 C-Os, now it's 5 to go And I'm serious - call me delirious But I'm still a captive I gotta rap this Time to break as time grows intense I got the steel in my right hand Now I'm lookin' for the fence I ventured into the courtyard Followed by 52 brothers Bruised, battered, and scarred but hard Goin' out with a bang Ready to bang out But power from the sky And from the tower shots rang out A high number of dose - yes And some came close Figure I trigger my steel Stand and hold my post This is what I mean - an anti-nigger machine If I come out alive and then they won't - come clean And then I threw up my steel bullets - flew up Blew up, who shot... What, who, the bazooka was who And to my rescue, it was the S1Ws Secured my getaway, so I just gotaway The joint broke, from the black smoke Then they saw it was rougher thatn the average bluffer 'Cause the steel was black, the attitude exact Now the chase is on tellin' you to c'mon 53 brothers on the run, and we are gone Edited February 12, 2007 by gomaos

gomaos Posted February 13, 2007 Im not gonna write the lyrics but the whole song of guns n roses - civil war ummhh... there you go... just copied and pasted it off the net... Civil War "What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach... So, you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it! Well, he gets it! N' I don't like it any more than you men." * Look at your young men fighting Look at your women crying Look at your young men dying The way they've always done before Look at the hate we're breeding Look at the fear we're feeding Look at the lives we're leading The way we've always done before My hands are tied The billions shift from side to side And the wars go on with brainwashed pride For the love of God and our human rights And all these things are swept aside By bloody hands time can't deny And are washed away by your genocide And history hides the lies of our civil wars D'you wear a black armband When they shot the man Who said "Peace could last forever" And in my first memories They shot Kennedy I went numb when I learned to see So I never fell for Vietnam We got the wall of D.C. to remind us all That you can't trust freedom When it's not in your hands When everybody's fightin' For their promised land And I don't need your civil war It feeds the rich while it buries the poor Your power hungry sellin' soldiers In a human grocery store Ain't that fresh I don't need your civil war Look at the shoes your filling Look at the blood we're spilling Look at the world we're killing The way we've always done before Look in the doubt we've wallowed Look at the leaders we've followed Look at the lies we've swallowed And I don't want to hear no more My hands are tied For all I've seen has changed my mind But still the wars go on as the years go by With no love of God or human rights 'Cause all these dreams are swept aside By bloody hands of the hypnotized Who carry the cross of homicide And history bears the scars of our civil wars "WE PRACTICE SELECTIVE ANNIHILATION OF MAYORS AND GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS FOR EXAMPLE TO CREATE A VACUUM THEN WE FILL THAT VACUUM AS POPULAR WAR ADVANCES PEACE IS CLOSER" ** I don't need your civil war It feeds the rich while it buries the poor Your power hungry sellin' soldiers In a human grocery store Ain't that fresh And I don't need your civil war I don't need your civil war I don't need your civil war Your power hungry sellin' soldiers In a human grocery store Ain't that fresh I don't need your civil war I don't need one more war I don't need one more war Whaz so civil 'bout war anyway -- "Civil War" Copyright Guns N' Roses 1991 From the album "Use Your Illusion 2" Released September 17th 1991

ThunderIdeal Posted June 10, 2007 how 'bout a title? simple man, by lynyrd skynyrd. a simple song but when you listen, it's genuine. Mama told me when I was young Come sit beside me, my only son And listen closely to what I say. And if you do this It will help you some sunny day. Take your time... dont live too fast, Troubles will come and they will pass. Go find a woman and youll find love, And dont forget son, There is someone up above. (chorus) And be a simple kind of man. Be something you love and understand. Be a simple kind of man. Wont you do this for me son, If you can? Forget your lust for the rich mans gold All that you need is in your soul, And you can do this if you try. All that I want for you my son, Is to be satisfied. (chorus) Boy, dont you worry... youll find yourself. Follow you heart and nothing else. And you can do this if you try. All I want for you my son, Is to be satisfied. The Dude Posted October 17, 2007 I think Hagakure had the right idea of setting up Music Download Torrents of compliations set up by us ethnobots. I'd definitley like to crank a nice compilation of old AND new songs that still have that poetic/spiritual/gnostic openingkey to revelations and epiphanies aspect to them... T00L Jimmy meant a lot more to me when it made sense then it did when i knew it as the track with that cool carnival music intro. Bad Religion also mean something now whereas whilst a kid they went way over my head.. anyway many a musical genre can express the same shit, and i dig it. Rage Against the Machine is as much about politics as it is a struggle of consciousness, wake up mufukas!.. yerr anyway I really dig this Australian band the Beautiful Girls, Heres a few short songs that have really cool lyrics, change me? yeah as in every instance of my living expereince does, More like re-affirmations of the goodness of people and that all this hippy shit might just prevail. Freedom (part 2)Well I may not be you and you not me, but between us there are certain similarities. Like I belive in love and the Devil will come, looking for us if we wrong some one. Freedom, is ours to hold. It's just a struggle in your mind, to keep your soul, keep your soul. And it's old, yes it's old, it's just a struggle in your mind to keep your soul. Well how long you're down, depends how you rise. And life has a meaning so open your eyes. The seeds that we speed into life to be trees, will soon become fallen, if their roots aren't deep. Learn Yourself Everybody thinks we'll fall apart. Everybody's quick to point their fingers at what, they think is causing the problem. And what they don't see is what they won't see my friend. And we've all got to learn ourselves before we can judge some one else. Just like the holy scriptures talk, of a road to redemption in amongst the thorns. The path is beset by ego and greed, and if we don't see then we won't ever be free. And we've all got to learn ourselves before we can judge some one else. Along the path we walk we've only got to find Our own hearts, own minds Shot Down Wise man he says "I'm a treat you like you wanted". Foolish man says "I'm a treat you like I want to". Evil you spread now is gonna come right back, come right back and haunt you. Love that you share now, it will guide and protect you. Guide and protect you. Met a policeman, said he was a soldier. Told me to get out of his face and hit the road ya. But see I don't need me no army 'cause I don't want no fight. But I'm a stand up for the difference between wrong and right. Mistakes are lessons and lessons learned take the place of ignorance in return. No, don't judge a man 'til you walk in his shoes. Some men ain't got nothing to lose. Shot down all over town. Better believe there's war on up ahead ya, Until we can settle the score and share the bread ya. Some people got no choices from the day they are born. Some other people got many but their reasons are wrong. Catch a fire, you're gonna get burned. Sow the seed, it will come back in return. Some people think they are above it all, and everything but they will fall. Shot down all over town. I'm not sure anymore, about those places that I once knew. See, I don't see you when I walk these streets in the night. It's so hard without you here by my side. But on one fine day, under the sun we'll be there with everyone. Everybody that has been and gone. I dig this one cuz it seems to be your typical psychedelic revelation of relativity and the absolute impossibility of their being absolutes (but nothing is absolute so who knows? ) Or I've got it wrong, either way I dig it, somehow i can skew everything to have a psy reference... No Wrong, No RightWait for me by my dying chair. Tell God and the Devil meet me there. They can use my soul as a battle ground, but until then, they can leave me out. There is no wrong, no right but there's a million constellations in the sky tonight. Take me down when you're feeling low. There will never be a place with you that I won't go. Let's let them say we're crazy. We may never know. Wait for me by your anywhere, and in a while I will meet you there. And if it hurts, least we're feeling now. Least if we feel then we live somehow. There is no wrong, no right but there's a million constellations in the sky tonight. Take me down when you're feeling low. There will never be a place with you that I won't go. Let's let them say we're crazy. We may never know. Cash Money Going, my boat's leaving today. Gonna get down to the water, gonna wash these blues away. Man this city's taken too much from me, gonna head out to the country, find a place where i can breathe. I've been working 9 to 5, trying to lead a gracious life, but my hard work only ever went to keeping me in strife. Gonna take another road. Gonna find myself some soul. Gonna do my best in every way, to pay attention as i go. Cash money, aint got no use for you. Unless you can buy me true love. And it's funny, how many time's they've proved, that the only true fortune you can save, is the truth. Slowly, time keeps slipping away. Leaves still change their colours, prophets lay still in their graves. Erasing all our liberties. Gonna take this axe, apply it, chop injustice at its knees. The fundamental laws, of suffering and of its cause, man they lay in being human. Everybody has their flaws. What if we could overcome, insecurity for love ? fear for empathy ? education in place of push and shove? Maybe none of these songs profoundly changed me, but i was happy to hear those lyrics. Stay tuned for Bad Religion and the gnostic connotations...
Stinkmeat Posted October 18, 2007 (edited) Tool - Lateralus Black then white are all i see in my infancy. red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me. lets me see. as below, so above and beyond, I imagine drawn beyond the lines of reason. Withering my intuition, missing opportunities and I must Feed my will to feel my moment drawing way outside the lines. Black then white are all i see in my infancy. red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me. lets me see there is so much more and beckons me to look thru to these infinite possibilities. as below, so above and beyond, I imagine drawn outside the lines of reason. Feed my will to feel this moment urging me to cross the line. Reaching out to embrace the random. Reaching out to embrace whatever may come. I embrace my desire to I embrace my desire to feel the rhythm, to feel connected enough to step aside and weep like a widow to feel inspired to fathom the power, to witness the beauty, to bathe in the fountain, to swing on the spiral to swing on the spiral to swing on the spiral of our divinity and still be a human. With my feet upon the ground I move myeslf between the sounds and open wide to suck it in. I feel it move across my skin. I'm reaching up and reaching out. I'm reaching for the random or what ever will bewilder me. what ever will bewilder me. And following our will and wind we may just go where no one's been. We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no one's been. Spiral out. Keep going. Spiral out. Keep going. Spiral out. Keep going. Spiral out. Keep going. Spiral out. Keep going. Stinkmeat Posted October 19, 2007 Not sure of the meaning jono. A lot of Tool songs seem to have very abstract lyrics and meanings. But to me the spiral seems to be a metaphor for human growth and development, in an emotional/spiritual sense. "We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no one's been." meaning that if we are open to experience, then we will greatly benefit from it, learning the true meanings of life. Yet i could have interpreted it totally wrong. but thats my opinion.
AndyAmine. Posted October 19, 2007 Unfortunatly, for me, until the age of about 22 I was never able to tune into the lyrics of songs, it only really sounded like tones that made up the music.. It used to be quite servere, to the point where a teacher talking just sounded like noise, even tonal like music. Quite a frustrating learning impairment to have if your keen on eduction, as you can imagine school didnt turn out so well for me.
limpet Posted October 19, 2007 I was thinking alot of the lyrics lack their real emotion without the accompaniment - the music, the way it is sung etc. But then...wouldn't true beautiful lyrics speak aside from all of this? I guess it boils down to simply what it means to each person and mine is "bread - if" If a picture paints a thousand words, Then why can't I paint you? The words will never show the you I've come to know. If a face could launch a thousand ships, Then where am I to go? There's no one home but you, You're all that's left me too. And when my love for life is running dry, You come and pour yourself on me. If a man could be two places at one time, I'd be with you. Tomorrow and today, beside you all the way. If the world should stop revolving spinning slowly down to die, I'd spend the end with you. And when the world was through, Then one by one the stars would all go out, Then you and I would simply fly away I hear the music and the way it is sung when I read the words and I always cry...... Damn it....my mum and dad love this song too....I must be over 30!
Guest Øskorei Posted October 19, 2007 For those unawares, the vocal delivery time sig in the TOOL track "Lateralus" unfolds as fibonacci sequence..... The wiki has this to say: The Fibonacci numbers first appeared, under the name mātrāmeru (mountain of cadence), in the work of the Sanskrit grammarian Pingala (Chandah-shāstra, the Art of Prosody, 450 or 200 BC). Prosody was important in ancient Indian ritual because of an emphasis on the purity of utterance. TOOL fans can likely thank Danny Carey for the song sequence, rather than Maynard. The Dude Posted October 19, 2007 (edited) TOOL fans can likely thank Danny Carey for the song sequence, rather than Maynard. Are you sure? Who knows who came up with the idea of using that type of formula for the song. Surely all band members are well-versed in the ways of the 'esoteric knowledge' pertaining to the golden ratio, given their interest in the occult which is evident in the music/lyrics and artwork. I'm unsure if theres any more to the fibonacci within the strong structure maybe, all that I know about is Maynards vocal delivery that follows the sequence with it's syllables: 1 Black 1 Then 2 White Are 3 All I See 5 In My Inf-an-cy 8 Red and yel-low then came to be 5 Reach-ing out to me 3 lets me see 13 - As be-low so a-bove and be-yond I im-ag-ine 8 - Drawn out-side the lines of reas-on 5 - Push the en-ve-lope 3 - Watch it bend And in the verse I believe Danny Carey plays a drum beat that works out the sequence up to 3 I think, so it's: 1,1,2,3 and then it loops again. Actually sounds really cool and I think if it even went on another couple iterations you could feel more of this natural rythm in the music. I think its the Perfect idea, to emulate gods Perfect divinity using this Perfect golden ratio as a foundation, however I'm not going to idolise either Danny or Maynard cuz what about Justin or Adam who are just as much a part of their creative genius. I'll just thank god for producing this tool to witness divinity. Haha holy music, well yea why not, Organised religion produces too much dissillusion, it's more about chaos-magick than trying to organise and control the ebbs and flows of the hidden landscape that is mind. Anyhow, this is spun out as I was just today talking about the fibonacci sequence and it's holographic application within nature. That meaning that at multiple levels of magnification of the cosmos this ratio can be witnessed from organic growth to the relative positions of hyperclusters of galaxies. If i stumble upon a post about the movie Pi and/or something about Torah (or is it Talmud) numerology I will be spun the fuck out again, but not too much, as ever since I made that rant about consciousness embedded within the entirety of the universe (life-force kinda) the universe has been tripping me the fuck out with endless reflections of my thoughts shown manifesting soon afterwards. In a time when I was thinking, hmm what exactly was I on about with Jimmy and 11:11 and this synchronicity crap - that's no proof of gnosis, synchronistacillay connecting with digital clocks is proof of nothing, so the cosmos just proved a shitload more with and without the aid of digital clocks.. I might make a post about it. "I embrace my desire to feel the rhythm, to feel connected enough to step aside and weep like a widow to feel inspired to fathom the power, to witness the beauty, to bathe in the fountain, to swing on the spiral to swing on the spiral of our divinity and still be a human." I dig that you posted those lyrics, I'll also add: "As below so above and beyond I imagine Drawn outside the lines of reason Push the envelope Watch it bend" the first highlighted segment resonates with me today after having discussed the fibonnacci sequence and selectively associating my brain to believe that witnessing this mentioned yet again today is but another sign of holy communion (or connection) with god, like a resonance or an echo of what happened before shows the wavelike behaviour of consciousness presiding over the laws of cause/effect. That reveals a dynamic relationship with my self and the rest of my Self, that includes you guys the universe and all that. and the second passage is brilliant: "as below so above and beyond i imagine".. it may be hard to imagine the vast expanses of the cosmos and the highest possible forms of intelligence and abstract metaphysical laws of reality with no reference point. However mystics and scientists alike are discussing what should be sooner or later admitted as a fact of reality, the holographic principle of self-similar reality at multiple levels of amplification. By fully knowing yourself you can know god.. that is by FULLY knowing yourself, you extrapolate that to the totality of self. It helps to have a transpersonal perspective when considering what is 'self' and psychedelics are a good starter kit for dummies - in the ways of transcendence. With a larger perspective of self and the workings of an over-associative mind some ideas begin to be "Drawn outside the lines of reason" as we "Push the [conceptual] envelope" (push the envelope of thinking about the very constituent factors of reality) and "Watch it bend" - watch the results and bathe in the fountain, ride the spiral and all that. I'm with stinkmeat on this: ...the spiral seems to be a metaphor for human growth and development, in an emotional/spiritual sense. "We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no one's been." meaning that if we are open to experience, then we will greatly benefit from it, learning the true meanings of life much phenomena in reality are accelerating functions or even more to do with spirals or vortexes, even apart from the fibonacci sequence of nature, perhaps the natural flow of time has such an accelrating function (Terrence McKennas Timewave Zero). Also the growth of anything is accelerated even the growth of a meme or a model of understanding reality. I guess one could ride a thought spiral and go where no ones been, have a totally novel thought or expereince and creating that is the stuff of gods.. which is us, and what we do everyday. However much creation is with the intention of self-serving a single entity instead of accelerating consciousness and networking minds in an ecstatic type of gnosis, we should be more like tool cuz their intention is evidently altruistic and god-inducing. God exists for me in between the lines of creation and meaning (ie: interpretation), when the connections become meaningful to me personally it is holy communion yet again. Entheogens as a holy sacrament help one notice the connections. I love this song. Edited October 20, 2007 by El Duderino
Stinkmeat Posted October 20, 2007 tool are so gay HAHAHA, fair enough jono. You are entitled to your own opinion. I love almost all the songs that tool have done. I get an intense amount of emotion from their music. If you get that same effect from a different source of music then so be it, but you should know how awesome it feels to have that connection. Regardless of where it comes from.
Amulte Posted January 19, 2008 Faithless - "Killer's Lullaby" I'm sittin' at a coffee table, unable to see straight Watchin' parallel lines unwind and undulate Behind the rain-streaked windowpane, the scene's bleak Another train leavin' home, conceding defeat with a low moan Hangin' in A sky, made of stone Everybody's leavin' home, I called my man Jerome To come meet me in the twilight zone Leave your mobile phone at home and come alone I bought him coffee and a snack, settled back, started speakin' He was tweakin' with the peak of his cap While I'm seekin' to discover what it takes to stay sober Not cover my mistakes, try to maybe make sense of the evidence It's over, she's gone for good Why should I lie, singin' a killer's lullaby Identified by the dying ring of her goodbye The last thing you hear before your life disappear Now it just gets worse, like my stomach 'll burst, feel like I've been cursed. With seven centuries of bitter memories And inadequacies, previous he's and she's I'm movin' round this old house for the last time Scene of my past crimes, been here for lifetimes Hearin' the chimes of the old clock that used to mock You got eternity for takin' stock, this place is like a padlock You look shocked. Trust me, nothing ever moves but the dust, There's just us and I'm here to torment and tease And that's how it was for centuries Me and my memories, till you brought the keys Took the couple of Saturdays I moved in runnin' from tragedies and boozing Seven hundred years since I came here You appear, same hair, same quizzical stare I couldn't get near, And the sheer frustration was more than I could bear I was really cursed, thought I'd been through the worst part That was just the first part, just the start Every night I'd be sitting with dread, breaking my heart In case the man she'd been chasin' gets to first base And I just can't escape, I'm in bad shape You making love to someone else is more than I can take And so I make all the movement I can to no avail Scream and yell, sinkin' deeper into my personal hell I'm getting heated, I'm sorry, have another coffee I needed to release my sparrow chest from just a piece of this pressure Unless an escape route is found, I'm going down underground Into lifetimes of pain, it's absurd The heaviest chain is contained is the sound of one word So I'm referred back to hell, huh Just as well, I hate needles an' get twinges at the thought of syringes J (as in Jerome), I'm going insane with shame I dream and watch her makin' love over and over again With what I call a farmer's swain Unintelligent, pea-brained retard who's dick is always hard Oh God, of course I'm jealous, fellows, oversexed flexing his pec's Jesus, what's he going make her do next? I'm mad vex, the way she gently scratches his chest You used to do that to me back in 1253 Pity me, while you lie with your lover I stare and suffer in despair while you ruffle his hair Unaware of who else is there I move quick, I want to try my trick one last time You know it's possible to vaguely define my outline When dust move in the sunshine So I'm tryin' to change, vibrate myself to near-human pitch Which reminds me how I used to come unstitched And switch 'round the house in a blind rage It took years and an ocean of tears to find the key to this cage And write another stage into a new age, it's difficult to gauge But I know that I'll see you again, on that you may depend I just don't know how or when Sleep on, my lost love on gone Jerome took me home under steel skies Knowing I'm prone to dramatize but unknown for telling lies And what I verbalize he can see behind my eyes The why oh why's that identify killer lullabies And he surmised No surprise couldn't hear that Closed my eyes as he steered that old black BM home again Not knowing how and not knowing when.
