    Calling Hebrew

Hi Hebrew, I didn't manage to grab your postal address before the PM system was deleted. Can you email it to me through my ebay account. Go to: http://stores.ebay.com.au/Sumari-Handmade-and-Unique and ask seller a question? Coin - yours is on the way! Thanks!
  6. I was thinking alot of the lyrics lack their real emotion without the accompaniment - the music, the way it is sung etc. But then...wouldn't true beautiful lyrics speak aside from all of this? I guess it boils down to simply what it means to each person and mine is "bread - if" If a picture paints a thousand words, Then why can't I paint you? The words will never show the you I've come to know. If a face could launch a thousand ships, Then where am I to go? There's no one home but you, You're all that's left me too. And when my love for life is running dry, You come and pour yourself on me. If a man could be two places at one time, I'd be with you. Tomorrow and today, beside you all the way. If the world should stop revolving spinning slowly down to die, I'd spend the end with you. And when the world was through, Then one by one the stars would all go out, Then you and I would simply fly away I hear the music and the way it is sung when I read the words and I always cry...... Damn it....my mum and dad love this song too....I must be over 30!
  7. Hi All, What a great response! Both tickets are gone. Everyone enjoy EGA and hopefully I can make it next year. Amulte, audio of McKenna's talks would be great if it is allowed. Everyone have a great time! Last year was a beautiful event Cheers all!!
  8. Hello, We purchased two tickets for Entheogenesis at the early bird rate of $80 ea. We now can no longer go due to work commitments and wish to sell these tickets. We are selling them at the price we paid $80ea or $160 for two. Tickets to Entheogenesis are now priced at $100 till the 5th November at which point they go up again to $130. So save $20 per ticket now or if you read this after Nov 5th, $50 per ticket. Please PM me if you would like one or both tickets. I will post back to this thread when/if they are sold. I sure will miss not seeing Dennis McKenna - does anyone know if he is doing any other talks anywhere while in Australia?
  9. I have listed a whole lot of our Huichol art on EBAY. Please take a look if you have the time and interest. http://stores.ebay.com.au/Sumari-Handmade-and-Unique Under "Huichol Art" on the side menu. The remaining large 60x60cm prints are discounted to cost. There are also some bracelets which are beautiful, and some huevos (eggs) so you can all have a Huichol style christmas. There are also some stunning beaded animals I haven't shown before. There are still lots more items for me to list so please check back again. Thanks to all of you from this forum who have bought items from us before.

    Huichol Artwork Reduced

Hi All, We are about to purchase a business here in the snowy mountains. A local school bus run. We have been lucky enough to get finance for the purchase despite our casual jobs and low incomes but we are still $5000 short of the purchase price so we are trying to free up some of the funds we have wrapped in huichol art at the moment. So we are posting to let you all know. As we posted before, you can download a zip file of a lot of the artwork we have on offer at: http://www.phys.unsw.edu.au/~melinda/Huichol.zip There is a file which lists the prices for each artwork. Make us an offer for the piece you want based on the price we wanted for them. At least by selling the items here we know they will go to good homes (like Santillan's that will really appreciate the quality of these pieces. We also have lots of Huichol jewellery. If you think you might be interested in purchasing some let us know and we can take some photo's.

Anyone who is interested can download a zip file (Sorry 30MB) of items for sale. http://www.phys.unsw.edu.au/~melinda/Huichol.zip I will send another message when the store is online for those interested. Shroom season is here

I went for a walk around sawpit creek near the snowy mountains in NSW and took some nice pics I'd like to share. Some beautiful coloured ones and lots of boletes...I've tentatively id'd most but am not sure of a few. All found in Eucalypt forests. Bolete (GenusUnknown) BoletusBarragensis Boletus Obscurecoccineus HorseDungFungus (grows through the tar road!!) Macrolepiota Procera ?? Phlebopus Marginatus? (or Big Bopper ) SclerodermaPatadoxum?
  13. I think mycorrhizal is the word shroomytoonos and I am pretty sure Saffrons are mycorrhizal to pines as well. I have about...mmmmm...10 kg of Saffrons at home right now which I grabbed from a local pine forest & I literally left 100's there. I can't eat them all so am making up little bags for friends to try. I also put a cap or two at the base of every pine close to my house so I don't have to travel so far to pick them next time There were also the remains of Slippery Jacks when I went picking but I can only deduce that the wild pigs find them alot more delicious than the saffrons and ate most of them while only uprooting the saffron in the search for more slipperies. The mess they make in the forest is artrocious but it easy to find the mushrooms now, just look for the upturned earth....

    Huichol Art - Canberra OBDM

Yes definately more markets in Sydney and possibly some on the central and south coasts (bermagui/pambula etc). Will post here to let you all know. We unfortunately didn't think to do this last time we are in sydney (we were at glebe markets). Hopefully we will be back at Glebe within a month or so or possibly paddington as well. We also hope to get all the pieces in an online store asap but we are limited as we don't have our own internet connection yet. Satellite internet has taken ages to organize and just today we have been told we may be waiting another 28 days until our sat is installed! Cheers!
