botanico - why is it important where the sender comes from? As I understand it, the legality of the above-mentioned spores is dodgy in NSW. If you must specify a place of origin, perhaps you should pick a place where they are legal, so as not to get others into trouble.

bit of a pointless (.) conversation

don't really know what this was all about, but anyway, spores are not illegal to send within australia (except WA and tassie maybe).

and even then wouldnt it be the responsibility of the reciever? as with plants?

ah just had a thought.... P cubensis is a prohibited plant in Qld legislation i remember reading so that might be a prob also

Yea I have read both the former and latter in regards to legality. So I can't actuly form an opinion...well I can but I don't know how correct it would be. :(

Even weirder! Psilocybe Mexicanna is specifically a prohibited plant in New Zealand. Why they chose this one mushroom is beyond reason.
