Have you sent this to any radio station or similar. Sydneys FBI and Tripl J will all take CD's and judging by the style of music, i would suggest sending 2 CD's to triple J, one for Robbie Buck on Home And Hosed, and the other for Fenella Kernebone who runs The Sound Lab.

Cool song too i might add, very nice. My band might be doing some recording soon, but we are just pretty staightforward boring rock music :D

Yeah i will definately send it to those kinds of people - im a huge fan of Sound Lab - some nice ambient stuff on there, so that would be cool. Some of the tracks on the album are more ambient and would be suitable.

Im glad you like.

Nab - mate its like getting rid of a disease! After so long!

You could also send in a copy to Tim Ritchie of Sound Quality at Radio National - 10pm on Friday's.

http://www.abc.net.au/rn/music/soundqlt/default.htm

He plays a broad selection of new electronic music and often gives unknown aussies a spin and gives their contact/web-site details on-air.

You might move a few if he chose to play something from yours.

BM, I can't actually download sounds at work.

What genre would you say your music fits in to?

I'll buy a copy, just to support local music. :)

I would say its Ambient very chilled, relaxed and cruizy :D BM great stuff! Desert Oak is awesome!

yeah Desert Oak was a fun one to make - i basically put the string sequence together and then added that instrument towards the second half with shit loads of delay and it gave it heaps of thickness.

I then put the whole thing through a manual pedal-type phaser and then back through more delay at a different timing and it was thick as all hell.

I had to actually filter the crap out of it to stop it distorting!

yeah Id put it more of a chilled catagory definately - its hard to say what it sounds like really - youll have to buy and catagorise for yourself :)
