By the time you take packaging and all the processing times etc into account more often than not a The 8% that pay over $100 are from experience also not the ones who order once a week In fact, orders over $100 are pretty rare. Maybe one per week or so. To put some of your numbers into context you really needed one more question: "How much do you spend on EB stuff per year?" It's an interesting and challenging business, but I suggest anyone contemplating it should not give up their day job as you will definitely need something that will pay your bills. Running a small ethnobot supply is certainly a nice way to pay for your plant collecting habit while making the same material available to everyone else. That's how all of us have started out and that's pretty much how it stays.
t st tantra Posted February 8, 2005 most sales are of seeds or plants. these are one off sales ,no repeat business. DIY is the aim for most ethnobotanists! t s t .
Braitok Posted February 8, 2005 I will be posting a more detailed survey this week. The first survey was basically a 'state of the nation' style survey. This week we get down to the brass tacks. Hope you will all participate.
