mutant Posted February 8, 2014 (edited) Thread to show cacti marks.. Cacti are notorious for carrying their history on their skins! What a fucking cactus ! Euphorbia obesa, it has survived the snow that killed frost pussy ass ass cacti like myrtillocacti and even several bridgesiis, and has survived also a fire, I mean, wut a champ!! if this wasnt yr favourite euphorbia so far, there's anothar reason ... this used to be a lot fatter. is has survived also the frost and the fire, but the fire sure fucked it up. its a scop it seems to be pretty alive and ohhh wut a bummer, not only they dont grow at all, but they got burnt: STEVE (cuzco) , a bridgesii (probably TIG) and seed grown taquimbalensis var wilca fire scars on this big penis plant and no comment Edited February 8, 2014 by mutant

upside Posted February 10, 2014 here's some of mine that have seen better days,, Altho these days they're getting the attention they deserve ;-) These first 2 were found in the bush dumped by someone,, a friend of mine who does bush regeneration passed them onto me. The new growth is about 8 months old. next was attacked by snails and slaters before the new growth formed. next has been an extremely slow grower, I obtained it years ago while living in Perth. New pups maybe a year old? another victim of snails and neglect. and an example of bad soil, sunburn, snails, slaters,,, All now back on track and slowly healing and growing again :-)

djmattz0r Posted February 11, 2014 Here's a button that got burned pretty badly when I derped and left it outside: Before the burn, such a cutie Right when I found it and brought it back in, had a gooey consistency and a loose layer of burned skin The scar that appeared and hardened all over it Here it is after about 6 months, finally recovering and putting on some new growth Here's a tip I just potted that I received on the internet labeled as a 'san pedro' but seems more like a short spine peruvianus. Unfortunately this one along with about 6 other cuts were just thrown in a box with no protection but glad they only came out heavily scarred and not a box full of rotten pulp

upside Posted February 13, 2014 ^ Hell yeah,, I have no idea how long it was sitting in the bush for? Apparently it was covered by grass and other crap, I'm stoked my mate knows me well enough to rescue it and pass it on.
