Snowfella Posted October 4, 2014 Wish mine would flower like that, tallest one is getting close to the 8 foot mark so got my fingers crossed for this season! This little one has no hesitation to put out buds though. Bit of a mishap after the last bit of rain we had. Drying up nicely though.

Nemisty Posted October 9, 2014 Remembered I actually own cacti. Pulled them out of the long grass and put them upright again. Where do I begin?
DiscoStu Posted October 9, 2014 (edited) looked at them, thought " i wish i had some fertiliser", then though "i really need to repot some of these", then thought "i need some bigger pots hmmmm", then looked at the compost and thought "this really isn't broken down enough for potting" and then thought "shit, need more money" and so on, and so forth, Edited October 9, 2014 by DiscoStu
☽Ţ ҉ĥϋηϠ₡яღ☯ॐ€ðяئॐ♡Pϟiℓℴϟℴ Posted October 9, 2014 (edited) i was in those very shoes not so long ago myself wish you luck and many cool new cacti, pots and stuffs your way ,,,unpackaged these freshly released local beauties and set em to dry in the ormus rooting pot I love uk surprises... reassures my faith in the true magick of the place, I guess wherever there's bastages.. there's also natural humans... ..... must've been very misfortunate with my first uk cactus buying attempts a couple of years ago to get several 'orrible vendors in a row.... either that or some had a personality transplant, a charisma bypass or arsehole surgery.... or have been usurped by real people selling no bullshit cacti affordably without being a cunt to their customers or took a leaf out of the good guy's book? anyhoo rawrz... look how sexy this one izzz maybe I'll gift the other one away , I think I've got that one already in a larger size Edited October 11, 2014 by ☽Ţ ҉ĥϋηϠ₡яღ☯ॐ€ðяئॐ♡Pϟiℓℴϟℴ

I've only got 2 little spachs so farbut yes I'm trying to create breeding stock from them (and all trichos humanly possible) eventually... I still need more experience with spachianus , just managed to get them through black rot so far ... and after losing 2 largish ones that even a hairdryer couldnt save a year or so back ,,,, i know a guy who has some monsters to cut but i almost darent yet.... anyhoo with regards to these whipper snapper spachs,,, by growing them outdoor all season its fixed the rot... theyve only been back inside about a monthish thank you most kindly, it was a toss between fat phuqq lophs and crestardo trichos ..., fat lophs won down to space, looks, price .... and the kids leverage on my decisions ,birthdays an all and.. since theyll probably have all the fun of flowering and breeding every single species that makes it that far... old fat lophs, I guess; are perfect in every way for the mean time cuz they're small, tough as a brick shithouse, flower like fk all year... and little fingers dont get hurt by fluff and as a bonus, they think theyre really cute , especially after being fluffed up :3... which im inclined to agree with I guess I'm blessed with the years of getting the tricho list to grow big enough to flower in time .. hopefully also in time to make me happy and give me reasons to be active when i'm old Edited October 13, 2014 by ☽Ţ ҉ĥϋηϠ₡яღ☯ॐ€ðяئॐ♡Pϟiℓℴϟℴ

zelly Posted October 12, 2014 I still need more experience with spachianus seriously? I can send you a gazillion seeds of them & you can grow them all out...that species is a weed for me. I ran out of chia seeds so now I'm using spachianus seeds in my morning oatmeal
☽Ţ ҉ĥϋηϠ₡яღ☯ॐ€ðяئॐ♡Pϟiℓℴϟℴ Posted October 13, 2014 (edited) sounds yummy zelly and thank you kindly but I have a couple of spach bags accrued so I'll politely decline for now might be interesting to see how they do outdoors in the ground here, i think I'll sow em in the garden in april if i remember... they definitely like mother nature's nurture techniques a tad more than mine... bit like a couple of acacias i have outside too mind you the mixed tricho bag sowings i sourced from germany look like they may have a few spachs in there Edited October 13, 2014 by ☽Ţ ҉ĥϋηϠ₡яღ☯ॐ€ðяئॐ♡Pϟiℓℴϟℴ
