this is the grafted L.w. jourdania (11th & 12th pictures in post 11)

I tried to remove all the pereskiopsis from it but couldn't removes the last half cm and i laid it on the soil of a pot for it to root.

The only roots that formed are those from the stock, not it's time to pot it up in it's own pot

something damaged the growing tip of this lophophora graft or it stopped growing and all the areols pupped almost at the same time.

Thought it turned out into an interesting shape, all in all it has 12 pups (at least this is what i counted)

abosolutely nice collection philocacti!

I once had a baseball sized lophi graft. after I degrafted it because the rootstock got orange rot and wanted to grow it on its own roots it got fungal attacked after a few months.

Wow, thought I'd check this thread and I totally forgot how my roof looked like.

It's amazing how growing cacti from seeds can fill up a big space.

Big thanks to all those who gifted me with their crosses. It couldn't have happened without you guys.

Got to thank these cacti too for making me part of legendary communities like SAB and the Nook.

you are real great dude Philo. Your Eulychnia experiments were astonishing.

your cacti always have that special look, I wonder if its the zone 10 sun, much more intense than in southern greece I suspect

the cage solution is a bit funny, heh

the monstrosa columnare bridgesii is unique too, I still suspect its a different strain than my melted wax

Thanks a lot buddy :)

According to the USDA Plant Hardiness Zone, I'm in zone 14. Also we have dust in air, which might makes them look like this. Maybe it's my camera. I really don't know.

Hahaha, yeah I had to improvise. I already caught and killed the rat. Only after it ate all the growing tips from all the Ariocarpus', except 3 that were grafted higher stocks.

Last year, I was gifted a small cutting of a bridgesii monstrose from a local friend and he told me it's a different clone than what we have here, but I still can't see any difference yet.
