I cant seem to get my brugmansia sprouting.

I am willing to trade for small cash or Desmanthus illinoensis seedlings

Havent got seedlings but i do have cuttings of double white & single apricot that probably have roots if i had bothered to look.

Cuttings strike easy..place fresh cutting in a glass of water and in a week you should see roots forming, 2 weeks the glass will be full of roots...of course this is best done during the warmer months of a growing season so when you plant out it will not be shocked so heavily by the cold.

only use about an inch of water for cuttings less than about 18inches or they might rot.

I was trying from seed but the native birds seem to love them and i just couldn't get any to sprout.

if you are heading into the caldera at any stage give me a call and we can meet up. From memory there are a couple of small potted bruggies around the place that could do with translocation :-)
