OpticalLight Posted May 1, 2010 Hello, I've tried to un-lurk before and it didn't really go as planned. ---> So it seems befitting for me to introduce myself again seeing as it's been that long between my posts. I've been here for a little while, and I do have an opinion; so I might as well exercise it a bit. I've recently had a life re-assessment of sorts; now I know who I am, and have no idea who I am, at the same time. It's quite exhilarating. I enjoy gardening. I have a number of plants. I am fanatical over them. At the moment I live in Brisbane where I find the weather to be unbelievably enjoyable. The weather right now is perfect. It's not even cold. I'm currently on a break from working, which is what I need at least for the next month. I've also recently decided to finish the degree which I started years ago - that should be interesting. I am actually quite sane, (would a sane person say that)... and I am pleased to meet you. Optical
ThunderIdeal Posted May 1, 2010 gutentach! it'd be nice if somebody would start posting more than me. give it a try will you? what degree?
OpticalLight Posted May 1, 2010 Hi ThunderIdeal, I will certainly try and post more than I used to. First it was a B Arts with a major in Psychology, then it was a B Communications. Maybe that's why I couldn't communicate properly... lol I've decided to go back to the B Arts, with some sort of writing major.

OpticalLight Posted May 2, 2010 Hi wood, glad to make your acquaintance. Last time I checked I was wearing clothes though... We both live in paradise. Hey that's sweet, are you enjoying your degree? Are you completing your studies for personal interest or with some future job prospects in mind?
OpticalLight Posted May 2, 2010 If I was part of said squad, at least I would be being paid. But that would make me a moby, which I'm most certainly not. Tell me 'bout it.

Maybe check again, just to be safe writing/philosophy major... last I heard all the highest paid CEOs have BAs with those majors... Yeah the degree is a blast, I've learnt a lot I doubt I'd otherwise know. (and it helped me get a job with the internet police infiltration squad)

Yeah the degree is a blast, I've learnt a lot I doubt I'd otherwise know. (and it helped me get a job with the internet police infiltration squad) I try not to check these things too many times. Well we're on the right track then. That's good to hear, it does sound interesting. Oh dear, I'll mind my words around you then. (Shouldn't you have been in Nimbin today... isn't that where the majority of the police force were)? Edited May 2, 2010 by OpticalLight
