zelly Posted December 3, 2009 Ok so I got this trich crest that's either due for surgery or transplanting.... So what's the general consensus.....whack the older growth that's impeding the new rooted offset that's growing into it, or transplant the whole thing & remove the new pup(s) & give them a pot of their own.... another pup in the same pot new small pup

bit Posted December 4, 2009 Definitely repot the whole thing in fresh soil, and take the pups off to grow on their own. She's a lovely plant, shame about the scarring :/ This one has rotted at the base - maybe try a ceramic pot if you're in a damp environment? http://www.shaman-australis.com/forum/inde...st&id=14962

A great plant to have in your collection! Im with bit about that...use it as a motherplant and take off the pups. bye Eg Edited December 4, 2009 by Evil Genius

The Aurora Borealis in wax. Way cool! I just re-potted two of these lovelies Sunday into bigger pots. I should take pics & share. Thanks for the links!
