SAB - Etheogenesis Australis T'Shirt Competition

Feeling creative and want to have some fun helping EGA at the same time? Why not try your hand at creating a design for the EGA fund-raising T'Shirt!

One design will be selected to be printed on khaki green T'shirts that will be made available for purchase at EGA 2009, as well as through the EGA website.

The winner will receive (besides tumultuous applause and various accolades) 1 Free ticket to attend EGA 2009 and a T'shirt featuring their winning design!

The design must include the following text to be eligible for selection:

'Etheogenesis Australis' or 'EGA'

www.entheo.net

A tagline (for example ‘In plants we trust.’)

Other than this the fonts, images etc you use it completely up to your creative discretion!

The design can be of anything and can include any elements of traditional psychedelia, however we would like the design to be primarily focused around plants.

Photoshop files are preferable, but all file types should be ok.

Please note the winner agrees to donate their design to EGA for the purposes of fund-raising.

Submission closing date: 15th September 2009

Please post an example of your design on this thread and also submit your designs to: [email protected] with the subject line ‘EGA T'Shirt Competition submission’

Include your full name and addressee in the email so we can contact you if you are the winner.

Maximum of three entries per person.

We can easy do this ourselves, but we just thought hell it would be more fun to get you all in on it

We have a new EGA flyer that will be out by the next week, it look very nice if i do say so myself

This is the drawing I did. Due to my powers of procrastination I didn't get time to convert to vector image but that can be done later if need be. I guess colour could be added at that point too, but I like it as is.

It's just a mock up to get the compostion accross. You get the idea.

What do you guys think?

Kanje bro, THAT..is Mad as Hatter!!! Even if it doesn't get selected for the t-shirt EGA should still use it in some of their promotions etc.

Since you asked what we think, just my opinion but, scrap the "plant head" text it's redundant. I know this is just a mock up for layout but I would put the "Entheogensis Australis" text underneath without the leaf logo. Or if EGA want the logo put it on back of the shirt up top (neck area). My design 2c.

Thanks for the input cycle. As you mentioned, the other stuff was just to give people an idea. If it turns out to be used I'm sure different options will be looked at like colouring and stuff.
