views not being registered

just a heads up to site admins because i haven't noticed this until the past few days

i just viewed the santana thread, it still says 0 views, and several threads have bold icons (meaning i haven't looked at the latest posts) even though the last several times i looked at them, there were no new posts (maybe this is because of edits to older posts in the thread?)

Threads will take a while to register the number of views, and often will say 0 views until the first reply or similar situation.

Unviewed posts on your side issues are to do with your own computer.

i've been having problems with pms loosing one of a set of quotes and having to edit before it will be accepted for posting?

tantra - I think PMs have a limit of how deep you can nest quotes [that being just one deep I think], so any nested quotes may cause problems.

thunder - views and a few other stats are only updated hourly or daily. this saves on server resources and is the default setting I think.
