cactophyle Posted April 1, 2009 (edited) This thread is for cactus 'porn'. Show us what you got -- any type, big or small, columnar, globular...rectangular? If you have a favorite, or something rare and unusual that you could teach us about please post some pics! I'm especially interested in all the forms of Trichocereus that seem to be named in Oz. metalismean11 Posted April 9, 2009 Here is what i have so far, i only started collecting around October last year, the majority of my cacti had no roots and there where no pups on any of them when i planted them throughout summer, so you can see how much they have grown, especially the large san pedro which has 5 pups now! gilligan Posted April 9, 2009 (edited) is that empty pot waiting for Mike, and is that psych0 second in from the left of the empty pot? looks like an interesting project... nice cacti Edited April 9, 2009 by gilligan
Chiral Posted April 9, 2009 Correct on both questions...just waiting on Mike and then its all systems go..will just tidy them up with some pebble mulch and name tag them all...there is a couple of un identified ones I will simply give them my own names till some one can id them properly. Mike didn't come today... he will no doubt be sitting with his buddys in the stupid postal shed all Easter..oh well they are tough I hope they are anyways . H. Good effort, it's really gonna be interesting to see the results... Edited April 9, 2009 by gilligan
metalismean11 Posted April 9, 2009 could someone ID the 2 plants in pots on the left, in the 2nd last picture for me??
Evil Genius Posted April 9, 2009 The left one is a Trichocereus Bridgesii Monstrose and the other two are some Trichocereus Peruvianus or Trichocereus Macrogonus! They have to be bigger for an ID! bye Eg

Xenodimensional Posted April 24, 2009 (edited) Why yes, it's an obscenely oversized crested ariocarpus retusus. It looks like a space cabbage if you ask me! Edited April 24, 2009 by Stitches
