It makes me think that if there are people out there that get aroused buy watching that then as a species we haven't evolved at all really, we're still the same stupid apes that we've always been. A big call seeing as we've made a lot of scientific and cultural advances, but how much are we being controlled by our primal instincts. Forgive me if i'm going off topic. p.s Somebody better call rspca on barbie because it looks like she's feeding the dogs crap back to it. Also it wont be the same as what Han Chinese popular culture finds "art", "tasteful" or "degrading". thus if you were to tell me that something was "art", "tasteful" or "degrading" the amount ov information (as opposed to subjective, culturally biased, opinion) that you are giving me is zero. Art can be degrading, I saw the most beatufuil (for lack of a batter word) piece of art of white men crucfing a black man. I mean beutiful as in it was well done you can see the expressions and you could feel what was going on, the fear in crucfied eyes, the sastifaction in those doing it. To us it is sickening and racist, to those who are happily racist it is probably art. So the whole concept of what is art, what is degrading, what is sickening, what is *Insert virtually any adjective here* is subjective (Wonder how long itll be until sum1 uses an inapropriate adjective in that sentence to poke a bit of fun). As nebraxas said, it is not a FACT that any one piece of art is degrading, it is your personal views (whether conscious or subconscious, which have been shaped by your personal life experiences, upbringing, society, community etc) that determine how you view that piece of art and whether or not you deem it to be degrading or otherwise.
