  1. I have decided get back into mycology after a fair bit of a break, and need to get some fresh cultures and start my collection up again. I posted in the mycology section but got no local responses, so sorry for the possible duplication. I am preferably after agar plates, or a small amount of liquid culture of good fruiting strains of the following (although I can made do with prints): Shiitake (fast growing if possible) Enoki DFAM - Victorian Origin Wild Victorian Blue Oyster Monster Oyster King Oyster (Pleurotus Eryngii) Lions mane Wine Cap (Stropharia rugosoannulata) Victorian Lions mane (Hericium Coralloides) Pioppino Anything else interesting... Located in Victoria I am willing to pay cash or work out some seed trades. I have a bunch of cacti seed and some acacia seed, possibly even a cacti cutting.. Thanks in advance
  2. Good point Solipsis, L. Coralloides is an Australian species. Looking for both then. DFAM is an Oyster mushroom strain (Don't feed after midnight). Thank you for the offer, If I get stuck I will be in touch, but I would prefer to get the cultures locally if possible.

  10. Hi guys, I'm looking for a large pressure cooker, ~21L, to use for mycology. Im currently a bit limited on funds, so can not afford a brand new one, so if anyone had one lying around not being used and is thinking of getting rid of it, maybe we could strike up a deal? Located in Melbourne
  11. Hey Thought I'd share my growing experiences with Alicia anisopetala. Last year I brought little established plant from an online vendor. I had it on my window sill over winter last year and everything was going great, until near the end of winter it dropped it leaves and died. I was a little gutted to be honest because I was really trying hard to protect it from the cold (Melbourne), hence having it inside over winter. I could not bring my self to throw it away, so I left it on the window sill for a couple of months. Eventually I did a big clean of my room and the dead plant had to go, but I still did not want to throw it in the bin, so I just put it outside under an orange tree where I normally out my old pots. About a month ago I went to move the pots and noticed that there was something sprouting out of that pot. Initially I thought that it was just weed, until I went to put it out and realised that it was connected to the dead A anisopetala plant. On further inspection I realised that it has seemingly revived itself and thrown up a new shoot. That was about a month ago, and the plant looks like its doing really well. So, it appears that this plant is capable of throwing suckers up, even after about a year of having no leaves!! Remarkable! On that note, don't discard any 'dead' plants you have, and you might be as lucky as me
  12. Hi miss-meander88, Those prices are okay with me. Can you tell me where you purchased them? Was it online?
  13. I am looking to expand my garden to include a herbal tea section. I am mainly looking for cuttings or small plants that I can just pop into the garden, but if plants are not an option then i'm am happy to try germinating seeds. So far I have mint, A couple of plants that I am interested are: Griffonia simplicifolia Tulsi (Holy basil) - Ocimum tenuflorum german chamomile mexican tarragon st johns wort Kanna But I am open to anything really - so your suggestions and offers will be appreciated. I don't have too much cash to spare at the moment so anything super expensive might be out of limits, and I am happy to trade any seeds that I have, or cover postage etc. Thanks in advance
  14. Hope i'm not too late! My favourite - Just because of the multiple pups that have recently popped up
