newageshaman

Question

 Hi i'm new to this forum and after browsing a few threads i noticed how helpful the community is and would like some help identifying my cacti and succulent collection. The following pics are of the cacti i have found and bought from various garage sales and whatnot around my area and any help with identification is greatly appreciated

Nice diverse collection. You are off to a good start and you never know where you might come across something really cool.

I'd say 7 n 9 are Echinopsis hybrids and 8 is some kind of Opuntia, 13 is prolly a golden barrel cactus. 10 is a pachypodium and 11 is some sort of Euphorbia ( see if it has white sap inside, white sap = Euphorbia).

2,3,&4 may or may not be Mammilarias.

sorry I can't be more specific,

Nice first post UTSE and Welcome! lol

Adding to what's already been said:

5: Haworthia?

6: 'Arizona Snowflake' cv

7: Mammillaria Campotricha?
13: Echinocactus grusonii (Golden Barrel)

1.Thought it was spach at first, but it's not. Looks like it might be a Cleistocactus sp. also the one to the right looks like Rebutia sp.

2. Something etiolated.

3. Reminds me of Sulcorebutia sp. though it looks a bit etiolated.

4.Mammilaria sp.

5. Haworthia sp.

6.Mammilaria cv. Arizona Snowcap.

7. Reminds me of Echinocereus sp. but not 100%

8. Variegated Opuntia sp. I forget the species.

9.As mentioned, probably Echinocactus grusonii

10.Pachypodium sp.

11.Looks like A Euphorbia sp.

12. Looks like Ferocactus robustus edit: Could be F. pilosus

13. Echinocactus grusonii kinda looks like v. albispinus, but could be just normal.

Hope that helps. Some of those plants need some TLC.

Thank you tonic and snowfella, and your right they definently do need a lot more TLC just been a bit hard when you don't have a lot of time. Still thanks for the help with identification now I can do a bit more research and hopefully have them growing a lot more healthy than they have been
