Hi mate, it's a Trichocereus peruvianus.

Hey mate, looks VERY PC to me too.
  3. Evil Genius's post in cuzcoensis or peruvianus/cuzco was marked as the answer
Yeah, it's definitely not a Trichocereus cuzcoensis. Probably Trichocereus peruvianus of some sort.
  4. Evil Genius's post in Id please was marked as the answer
First one is probably Neoraimondia herzogiana and the second one is Echinocactus grusonii. Definitely no Trichocereus,  but nice plants. The Neoraimondia are just beautiful in Peru.
  5. Evil Genius's post in Trichocereus or cereus? was marked as the answer
It´s definitely not a cereus. It looks a bit roughed up and that affects how it looks like, but it´s probably Trichocereus peruvianus or something close to it. Pretty sure this will turn out to be a nice Trichocereus once you have it repotted and in full sun.
  6. Evil Genius's post in ID please Trichocereus whut? was marked as the answer
Hey mate, interesting plant and hard to ID because it falls in a group of plants where there are many intermediates without clear separation. It is definitely a column related to Trichocereus terscheckii, and I agree that the spines indicate it could be T. validus. I also saw some Bolivian Trichocereus werdermannianus forms which are very similar. So yeah, would guess that it´s Bolivian or a hybrid involving one of the species mentioned before,

    Hey Godless, that´s Pachycereus pringlei.

  8. Evil Genius's post in ID please, purchased as gladiatus was marked as the answer
Hey godless, it´s definitely a Trichocereus candicans. I tend to believe the label. Trichocereus gladiatus belongs to Trichocereus candicans.
  9. Evil Genius's post in gladiatus, taquimbalensis, cerues sp or a mut? was marked as the answer
That rules out T. gladiatus and potentially T. neolamprochlorus as well. T. gladiatus only gets up to 65 cm tall and T. neolamprochlorus is described as "relatively low". At that size, it can only be a regional form of T. taquimbalensis / T. werdermannianus. The spines are more typical for T. werdermannianus, while the skin is more typical for T. taquimbalensis. It should be something in between.
  10. Evil Genius's post in ID help please, chilensis?chiloensis?....? was marked as the answer
    Hey mate, that´s Haageocereus acranthus.

  11. Evil Genius's post in terschekii or pasacana or werdermanius or ? was marked as the answer
Hey mate, on the first look I´d say it´s Trichocereus pasacana. The spines and areoles are too different from the ones on a T. werdermannianus and T. terscheckii is usually not so spiny at that size.

Very cool beast! It´s more of a short-spined Peruvianus. But the spine growth on that cutting looks fairly normal to me. So yeah, a beautiful Tr. peruvianus.
  13. Evil Genius's post in 2 id's please was marked as the answer
The first one is some kind of Opuntioid. Maybe Opuntia Subulata. The second one is Trichocereus Thelegonus.
  14. Evil Genius's post in columnar ID please? was marked as the answer
Cereus Peruvianus. No discussion about activity please.
