Planted these little suckers in their own pots. The three lophs I kinda grew accidentally. I thought they were goners so I just threw them in a pot with another cactus and waddaya know... they live! Any ideas for the sign?

With the intention of growing a lot more (cacti and others), I'm realising I'm going to have a hard time keeping track of all of the seeds and their data (source, dates, etc). Right now all my baggies are stuffed into a tin and that just won't do. So what I was thinking is something like a bunch of these bead containers, filled with sorted baggies and then stacked into some box I'll make with a lid to keep it dark. Or maybe just a whole lot of these? Would love to hear what everyone here is doing.

Well colour me interested... May just have to make some time to take a drive down to your place Got some space to do mass propagation now too so that's handy.

well shit... you're right. I should have actually clicked the dropdown next to them. My bad for making assumptions. -
I was considering starting a Pintrest board for this sort of thing but figured it may be better here with you enterprising folk. This isn't really for amazing gardens like a lot of you have but more for neat tricks/DIY ideas. I'll get it started with a bunch of stuff I've seen around the web. This one seems a bit dangerous with a shovel about.

On the right hand side of the activity streams, there's a square and a little list icon thing. Click the list icon thing. "Condensed View" -

Up the top, hover "Activity" and then click "My Activity Streams". You can now either select "Content I started" or "Content I Posted In". -

Use uBlock origin instead. less resource heavy than adblock plus. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ublock-origin/cjpalhdlnbpafiamejdnhcphjbkeiagm?hl=en https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/ And if you an encounter a site like that, close the tab and never go back The internet is big enough that you can still find what you're after and not give in to their bullshit.

A linked gmail account? Basically just gotta deal with it. (Requires android and root) https://free-software-for-android.github.io/AdAway/ will block 99% of traditional ads on your device. "integrated" ads like sponsored tweets and shit in the twitter app are not (as far as I'm aware? feel free to let me know if I am though) removable. Lots of apps will also profile you based on other apps you've installed. https://www.google.com/settings/u/0/ads/authenticated?hl=en Will allow you to "Opt out" of interest based advertising. Honestly not sure how effective it actually is.

Victorinox chef knife + hack saw for cores if necessary Just give them a little wash, throw the hack saw blades out every once in awhile. -
The tl;dr is it's a non-circulating hydro system. Set and forget. No pumps, no circulating water. The longer tl;dr: prepare dark bucket/reservoir with water+nutes, obtain net pot, put well rooted plant in net pot, make sure it's only JUST touching the water, the roots will grow into the water and become "water roots", the ones that aren't in water will turn into "air roots", once your reservoir is depleted your plant is harvestable. Works best with whole-plant harvest leafy greens but apparently works with a bunch of other things too including taters? Here's some info on it. http://www.ctahr.hawaii.edu/hawaii/downloads/A_Suspended_Pot_Non-circulating_Hydroponic_method.pdf https://www.google.com/patents/US5533299 (it's patented but he seems lenient about it) (this guy has a lot of hydro videos, including dutch buckets which I'm also very interested in and will be starting a few of very soon)

CATS?! CATS?! I LOVE CATS. I KNOW IT'S AN OLD TOPIC BUT PLEASE CAN I BUMP IT?! No but seriously I may have a problem. These are my three babies. https://imgur.com/a/DxlG7 The big tab is my main homie. He's about 11 years old and the sweetest little huge chubster I know. Getting a bit slow now days but still managed to pull in a feral rabbit within a week of moving into his new place. The black and white one is a bit of a derp. Very rough but loves a good cuddle too. Just not being picked up. He sleeps on my bed every night and most of the day. The little ms. tab with a ranga spot on her head is my true little baby that doesn't live up here with me unfortunately. She's the one you can cradle to sleep in your arms.

All big companies that don't want their old drives pilfered for data do it, waterboy it's the only way to 100% ensure nobody can read them afterwards
