Guest Thelema Posted September 27, 2002 wow youre on the ball theo.VERY interesting research. I wonder how one would go about isolating the k-opoid actives from MJ? Has anyone ever done an extract of MJ that misses the THC? more later
John_Barleycorn Posted September 27, 2002 This opioid connection with Sal. D. is starting to explain a lot. I guess one of my reservations about this substance has always been the effect on the balance. I have this woolly heuristic that anything that impacts your motor system is probably something that should be treated with respect, especially in a long-term usage context. Is that one of the possible implications of this research?

Previous experience suggests that over-indulging in opiates affects one's ability to walk in much the same way as alcohol Whether this is technically an effect on the "balance system" per se is another matter. Similarly, SD at high doses is not something I would attempt to drive or even walk on.
