Evil Genius Posted January 16, 2016 Hi Solomon, great to see you posting again! Some very nice and rare ones in between. That CC bridgesii is a Tr. cuzcoensis. CC's T. spp CC4171 looks like a Tr. werdermannianus.
sagiXsagi Posted January 16, 2016 I think both the taquimbalensis and werdermanianus are different forms of taquimbalensis var. wilkae, both beautiful specimens the pic with the TPC and the lichens is gold thanks for sharing

solomon Posted February 1, 2016 Very nice my bro. A treat to see your pics again. Could you by any chance update me on your biggest Peru in the ground? It was inbetween overgrown gardens close to your old man's potting shed. ..annd your 'Quentin' monstrose bridgesii which went into the ground 3 or so years ago. Miss you, miss your garden and miss your family too, plz give yo mama and papa hugs for me. heya, miss you also. will have to come up and visit you soon. the big peru you speak of is one I posted pics of recently flowering. It has started to lean against the fence in front of it at some point and by doing so has curved and lost probably a foot in height heres a couple pics of it finishing up flowering because the peru above decided to get its lean on, I think this one is the tallest in ground now. The "Quentin" bridgesii is getting a bit of propagation done at the moment. This one definitely reverts to normal growth and then back to melting/weird rib play.. Pretty typical for weirdo bridgesii. Here is a tip Mama Q ..and this "CC's T. spp CC4171 - Apparently came from Oreocereus weberi" How did you come upon this info? It's on the CC website under the library listing for CC4171. thanks for the IDs and comments guys.
