hostilis Posted November 2, 2013 I actually just bought this one like a week ago. It flowered while the last owner had it. There are about 8 old flowers on it though so it looks like he's gotten it to flower every year. I'll talk to the previous owner and see if they have any tips for me. GoOnThen Posted November 2, 2013 What kinds of freaks are you not able to find? Some of the crests? Because of our strict quarantine laws it is very difficult to get plants into the country. You ether have to run the gantlet and try and sneak them in ( which I am not willing to do. I actually got caught bringing seeds in that are not on the allowed import list) or you have to pay large amounts of money to get them through. So the problem we have is the plants have to come from a Aussie grower and we ether don't have lots of freaks or the ones that are here are in peoples collections. For example we have Peruvian crest's here that are able to be found with out to much trouble ( not taking into account all of nitrogen's seedlings ) but Pach crest's are very hard to find as are Myrtillocactus geometrizans crest's and the list goes on with so many freaks that are out of our reach.
