white tip

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have several cuttings about 40-60 cms in darkness for 3-4 months which I intend to sell, but I have not had the time.

There is no rot but their are bending and a few have gone white on the tip… what could this be? Would it go back to normal once potted?

thx for your input.

Lack of Light! It will go away when you put it in the sun!

etiolated, ive found its better to chop them, because if you dont give them a topping when they grow they will be weak and snap were growth has narrowed

Just pot it up and grow it like normal for a few months and then when it's going again (in say October) then give it a chop. The new pups should be nice and fat if you wait until then. Chopping in the middle of winter isn't the best idea.

if you put in full sun like that straight away it'll get burnt and go black,

best to put it in shade/semi shade if you're to go that route
