Rum and Monkeys Posted May 13, 2013 Hello everybody, In my slowly growing collection of columnar and other weird cacti I have gotten a thing for the vivid blue coloured cacti, so I am just wondering if anyone had any blue cacti that they would like to sell or maybe trade. I honestly do not care what they are really, I just like the blue tones of them. Pictures? let the games begin. Thanks everyone

paradox Posted May 26, 2013 is this bridgesii blue enough for you? pics don't come up all that true, in some light it looks like it's made out of blue/grey metal. probably my favorite plant. & almost the first cactus i acquired ever, around 10 years ago.. put it in the ground about 2 years ago & cut it right back at the start of this growing season just gone. means a lot to me this one.. branches are a little longer than in the pic now too

cactuscarl Posted May 28, 2013 Looks a lot like psycho0 to me but I could be wrong. The spines aren't as long as mine but the plant looks almost identical to the one I put in the ground.
paradox Posted May 28, 2013 nah not psycho0, i just call it Hamilton as it came from hamiltons cacti nursery in sydney, but that was well before they supplied bunnings & different genetics to the ones that commonly come from hamiltons nowadays.. back in the day & over the years i have grown out hundreds of hamiltons bridgesii's, this was the first one i ever got & is still the most unique, aesthetically pleasing & all round wonderful plant of all of them.. so yeah i call it hamilton as it represents to me the best & most unique bridgesii that this source has ever produced
