Darklight Posted February 23, 2003 Get back to work at once! Just joking... don't hit me again I couldn't stand it we're looking forward to some serious insights over salad when youse get home, dare I say slide night? Or is it all digital? Has anyone else noticed that if you put stuff in those angle brackets as a piss-take on HTML code the software doesn't include it? That's the second time I've tried to do it and it didn't work, changes the whole tone of the post when it doesn't. Somnif? [ 23. Andrew Posted February 23, 2003 I used to go to bali every year for a month and got hooked on kretek ciggies for a few years, I,d always bring about six cartons home with me,and friends constantly brought me packs when they went. They are terribly bad for your lungs, not so much nico but heaps of tar.Out of all the brands, I used to smoke mostly gudangs(which you can get here)and djarums.Have you tried the big trumpet shaped ones with no filter? They last for ages(30 min+). gomaos Posted February 23, 2003 yeah also used to be relly hooked on Kretek/Gudang Garam, but the last ten years really couldn't smoke them anymore, just toooo strong... Good describtion of Bali there, wish I'd have heaps of money and could go travelling myself again...but those days appear to be over... Rev, ask the locals if they know "Bali Coffee"(i.e.Coffee with the bark of a tree, perhaps brug, very hallucinogenic)

somnif Posted February 24, 2003 quote: Has anyone else noticed that if you put stuff in those angle brackets as a piss-take on HTML code the software doesn't include it? Opps, I have been doing in a few posts; I wonder what strangeness has been produced. Too scared to go and look back. Thanks for the tip DL. quote: gudang garams... These were the first cigarettes I ever purchased a pack of. These were also the last cigarette I ever purchased a pack of. For a nicotine naive user such as myself, combining the numbing effect of the cloves with the strength of these smokes caused me to have what I can only regard as a nicotine overdose after quickly smoking down two of these. Sweating, dizzyness, tremors. Really unpleasant. Talking about unpleasant... (my first tobacco experience was when I was eight and I chewed and *ate* a couple of Malborough (sp?) Red cigarettes which I found in my brothers room (I had heard about chewing tobacco somewhere) - felt very weird 10 minutes later, 15 minutes later I had distinct case of mouth projectilesis...) (my second tobacco experience was with some 10 year old+ cigars I found at the bottom of a draw. Attempting to smoke stale cigar in a cigarette manner is not a recipe for further exploration) Needless to say, I don't smoke tobacco now.
Auxin Posted February 24, 2003 "what I can only regard as a nicotine overdose.... Sweating, dizzyness, tremors." Yup, overdose (or toxicity from another component). Good, you only got half the way there. If I remember right it goes sweating, dizzyness, tremors, vomiting, unconciousness, death. There is enough nicotine in a cigar to kill a non-smoker (if you eat the cigar that is).
MrBumpy Posted February 24, 2003 A good thing about Brunei is that their $2(I think?) note looks very very similair to the Australian $10....which can be handy in helping you get cheap jugs of booze in busy nightclubs or pubs -bumpy
