Any Entrepreneurs out there?

Recommended Posts

"It's not easy being green",

Kermit has said on many occasions.

I think it's even harder being aware and motivated to make some greenbacks in a 'green' fashion.

Thing is..

us 'visionaries' have a problem, don't we?

Seeing what others wont..or can't..

is lonely,

and it's becoming of either squeezing oneself into another shape to fit the mould..

or slowly dieing on the inside..

(which really does happen for me)

everytime i see another invention, i'd intended..or planned..and sat at the cusp with..

just to see another wanker get rich, off half the idea!

I'm putting it out here now..

because i'm speaking with some BIG Australian manufacturers, and suppliers..

and am looking at a product to rival Goji, or fish oil or (insert superfood here)

which unlike many others, has hard science and legitimate proof to it's efficacy.

I've also sourced long term supply of the indredients for FREE! :s We'll turn a kind of vegetable 'waste', into an actual fountain of youth.

I'm a crazy genius..sick of being crazy..and even sick of the inspiration..

and it seems like the only answer is to find another,

with

1) the mind

2) the time

&

3) the will

to help me leverage one or many of several dozen products and services that i've innovated.

What sux, is sitting on the verge of incorporating my first non-for-profit venture,

and even being able to taste, the immediate 'in road'

to taking a slice ,of a FKN MASSIVE pie..

and yet im stuck once AGAIN, when looking to collaborate, trying to explain myself to short sighted muggles, and cogs.

And this is no small judgement.

I've been thru biz diplomas,

govy funded programs,

mentored by 'experts', trained in so called 'circles of elite'

only to find another and another short sighted, objection to my truth.

I've got a recipe that tweaks human hormones in AWESOME ways, with massively beneficial results..

and a very tight business plan surrounding it..

but I can't find a soul, for the life of me, that even barely understands where i'm coming from.

Do you?

Am I understanding right that the thing missing (which as well would free you from most of the "muggle"-talk) are funds?

You sound like my dad except with a plan. He's just stuck in the soul-crushing bit right now.

Fear not, you will find the person you are looking for, they are out there i promise.

My concern would be if this is the way you are approaching selling you product or idea then most people would ether have no idea what you are talking about or would have at least some concerns whether you can follow through with the project.

You don't need to tell us what your product is but you need to give us something.

As much as you obviously dislike dealing with the average business type if you want to sell an idea or a product to them you need to present it to them in a way that it excites them not you.

Cheers

Big Kev would be getting excited by now.

Make sure you sell something people will actually buy more than once. You don't want to sell some hyped up snake oil, the market's already flooded.

You can become a billionaire selling cardboard boxes you know...

Can you launch without anyone else going in on it? Good luck with it.

It wouldn't matter if I put my ideas into

hard facts, financial projections

and mimic the growth rate of identical products, in identical markets

with bank approved business plans.

Because I've done that! I take my ideas to the experts..and they glaze over

until they dish out the same idea a year 2 later, once its sunk in.

funding isn't an issue either. Been in business 15 years, across several completely different

markets- never needed more than $100 startup..

never made less than $50 per hour-

and can set up or unpack these models within 1-2 weeks.

--

what does feel like the problem that started this post..

is that EVEN WHEN you're best mates are asking u to 'become elite with them'

and request support in developing supps..and markets..and GIVE THEM EXACTLY what they ask for,

it still doesnt work.

I can't even give people upward for 30% profit over 12 months for nothing more than logo design..

Placing a steak in front of a dog,

the animals still snarls at me

and ignores the steak.

I understand the challenge is in conveying my vision..

so I got and do 90% of the work that I want others too.. as an example..and they still wont hold sight long enough to complete the other 10%.

You'll tell me its a within/without thing.

However.. had I a designer/artist, manager..'technician' and assistant in any field

i'd make them a million within 12 months.

It's like telling people the sky is blue..

they still object!

Sounds like you're onto a winner. Hope you can make a big connection and get launched.

They say follow your dreams but they don't tell you how hard it can be at times. lol

The leaders in these nutritional or health supplements rarely make the big bucks. They usually have the costs and then one the product has gained a certain amount of market acceptance, that's when the big ones jump in - without any regard for your work.

Getting new supplements to market in australia is difficult because of the TGA and ANZFA restrictions. You'd be surprised how many of the products on the market are actually legally compliant. The TGA itself released a report last year stating that 80% of newly TGA registered products did not comply with their own regulations. One has to wonder how that is even possible in a regulatory scheme. As far as foods go, it is even more complex. The reason why you don't see many commercialised bushfoods is because it is actually illegal to call something a food unless it has a long history of food use in WESTERN society. I know that many superfood companies are hesitant with superfoods because they can easily lose massive investments if they are shut down. And supermarkets tend to be extra cautious about stocking such products.

So you might have a great idea, and chances are the muppets indeed are clueless, but even if you get through that you may end up with hurdles that you might have been unaware of.

You could buy these ingredients from any local store and juice them yourself.

But this'll have a bottle that doubles

with a world first, exclusive use that further compliments a larger strategy.

Not to mention, building sustainable competitive advantages into the whole concept.

It's a new niche.. engineered, market.. and is to be executed primarily through a non-for-profit venture.

I now trust my ability to innovate and create value,

second to nothing else in my life. I'm willing to give this development and model away to others..

in order to float the structure which will make many more of these kinds of ventures possible.

This is most peoples one in a million idea.. but i've got 100million better ideas, so i'm now happy to play the odds : )

I'd be as keen to simply use this, as the first of a dozen more common sense connections

that have been made..

in order to build some brand and personal crediblity

for developing future innovations.

But iv got this obstacle..

part of coming to action anything for me, requires a certain mental and verbal process.

When it comes to issues now,

of proposing alliance or partnership with investors.. or liasing with manufactuers.. creating privacy agreements, etc..

im still stuck in the mundanest of arguments, concerning challenges that were solved at light speed, along with conception of the original idea.

My creative -> collaborative -> action strategy,

is massively constipated.

Imagine you're putting a 'entrepreneur vacancy' position online, how would you write it out? What would some of the tasks and responsibilities be of this person? What qualities would you like them to possess?

I'm not exactly sure you've given anything concrete for readers to go on yet. Could you please be more specific? Perhaps some potential helpers would be able to chime in then.
