planthelper
pm, me!but damiana suffers from what i think is a rust infection, so spraying it, might be the way to go.i lose 1/3 of my plants over winter, some other growers even more. 2Deep2Handle
wheres all the damiana plants people? Is that one you've got left PH after giving incognito one or the one they're getting? Also keen to get my hands on one of these for cash/trades/sexual favors(only after damiana consumption).Even Torsten loses huge percentages of them over winter. Is it that the cold lets in the rust, or just flat out kills em? I thought the rust would be more prevalent in hot humid summer conditions? Any idea which rust it is? I Wonder if it can also get the new Myrtle rust, or puccinia psidii as well? It was only discovered in Australia(Northern NSW) April 2010, and has since been found to be jumping outside of the Myrtaceae family at an alarming rate, and has extended its range incredibly rapidly due to the spread of its spores. Full Host range is far from been identified in Australia.http://www.daff.qld.gov.au/4790_19788.htm

☽Ţ ҉ĥϋηϠ₡яღ☯ॐ€ðяئॐ♡Pϟiℓℴϟℴ
not hard to grow from seedis my first time too, found em on ebay - 8 seeds, 5 germs, 2 losses from overwateringgood luck i germinated in john innes seed mix , first repot was into cactus mix with an "outer" layer and topping of granular expanded clay/DE (a type of natural kitty litter in this instance, that is basically finer grade akadama) , this second pot was "bunged" at the base holes with a thin wadding of reg moist compost to stop the media falling through, and because I cant be arsed to keep cutting screens for the pots i water it rarely , with normal strength cactus feed, since last monthI let it dry first , then wait a longer while (up to a week or 2 depending on hot weather) till the plants look parched before watering about 10-30ml#(likes it dry)I'm hoping they'll make an ace conservatory/GH plant over here in tropical uk Edited June 29, 2014 by ☽Ţ ҉ĥϋηϠ₡яღ☯ॐ€ðяئॐ♡Pϟiℓℴϟℴ
