Micromegas Posted July 29, 2012 To hazard a guess... Looks like longifolia, rupicola and dealbata/spectabilis. if these plants were in SA i'd be certain but there may be similar looking species in NSW with different names. The last is a weed in sa.
Les Hiddins Posted August 17, 2012 My guess; 1. A. longifolia 2. A. ulicifolia 3. A. irrorata
2Deep2Handle Posted August 17, 2012 No1 is A. longifolia if i had to guess.... do you live in an area where A.disparima or A.concurrens grow naturally? leaf structure looks similar to these 2 as well but not sure how they bloom.

planthelper Posted August 20, 2012 A. Maidenii is currently not in flower. the little bit what i know, of some acacias is that they often flower after rains, and not when the literature say's they flower. not to say, that this has merit, for this discussion, but it's good to know, if you wanna collect seeds, or see the flowers. Thegribbs Posted August 23, 2012 I live in the hunter too. I'm seeing "Type 1" all along the F3 and New England. Going to get a small sample on the way home tomorrow to take a photograph. I think theres at least 2 different species, one looks very shrub like.
